    摘要: An electrostatic chuck for electrostatically holding a wafer is provided in a vacuum chamber formed in a magnetron plasma etching apparatus. The electrostatic chuck has a base member, a first insulating layer provided on the base member and made of polyimide, a second insulation layer made of AlN, a conductive sheet provided between first and second insulation layers, and an adhesive layer made of a thermosetting resin and adhering the first insulating layer to the second insulating layer. The wafer is placed on the second insulating layer, and power is supplied from a high voltage power supply to the conductive sheet via a feeding sheet, thereby creating static electricity and hence a coulombic force for holding the wafer on the second insulating layer.

    摘要: A projector system of the present invention includes a projector 10 and a personal computer PC as an information terminal, which communicate with each other via a network connection. The projector 10 generates a password required for establishment of the network connection and projects the password on a screen SC. A user of the personal computer PC inputs the password projected on the screen SC. The password is used for authentication of the network connection between the projector 10 and the personal computer PC and cipher communication therebetween. This arrangement of the present invention enhances the convenience of the projector that is capable of establishing a network connection with the information terminal, while ensuring secrecy of communicating data.

    摘要: There has been a problem of necessitating a complicated work for establishing a connection capable of intercommunication between a computer as server and a projector as client.When a connection is established between a server 20 and projectors 301 through 30n, a communication command is issued according to UDP-based broadcasting to retrieve connectable projectors 301 through 303. Thereafter, the projector 301 to be connected is selected and is assigned an IP address to establish the connection. In this manner, a user can easily obtain a connection environment capable of intercommunication between the server 20 and the projector 301. A TCP/IP communication command is used to input or output image data, ensuring reliable transmission. Since the authentication can be provided using a keyword projected during the connection establishment, it is possible to prevent an unauthorized access to the projector 301 by an outsider.
