    摘要: An image forming method is disclosed. In the method, an image-forming element comprising a support provided thereon a first layer containing substantially of one or two components selected from three kinds of components, (1) a cobalt (III) complex having an ammonia ligand or a primary amine ligand, (2) a compound capable of being changed in the absorption wavelength thereof by ammonia or primary amine and (3) a compound or a precursor thereof which makes ammonia or primary amine contained in the cobalt (III) complex as a ligand to be easily released from the complex is used, and the method comprises the steps of; imagewise providing the component or components other than the one or two components selected from the three kinds of components contained substantially in the first layer to the first layer according to image-information, and reacting components selected from the three kinds of components contained substantially in the first layer and the component or components other than the one or two components selected from the three kinds of components provided imagewise to the first layer, to form an image.

    摘要: A method for treating a thermally transferred image is disclosed. The method comprising the steps of (1) thermally transferring an image from the ink layer of a ink sheet which comprises a support and a ink layer comprising a sublimation dye provided on the support, to the surface of an image receiving layer of a image receiving element which comprises a support and a image receiving layer provided on the support, by means of imagewise heating by a first thermal head, and (2) heating the surface of the image receiving layer having the transferred image by a second thermal head through a plastic film contacted to the surface of the image receiving layer.

    摘要: A heat-transfer recording medium is disclosed, which produces no lowering in transfer density even when the medium is used under such higher-temperature conditions as in a facsimile equipment and is capable of providing an easily readable transferred image having a low surface gloss, as well as having an excellent keep-secrecy and producing few voids. The recording medium comprises a support; a heat-transfer layer, provided on the support, comprising a thermo-fusible substance and a colorant; and a non-transfer layer which is interposed between the support and the transfer layer and comprises a colorant, a thermoplastic polymer selected from the following Group A and a thermoplastic polymer selected from the following Group B:Group A: an .alpha.-olefin polymer, an .alpha.-olefin-maleic anhydride copolymer, an .alpha.-olefin-alkyl acrylate and methacrylate copolymer, an .alpha.-olefin-vinyl acetate copolymer, an .alpha.-olefin-acrylic or methacrylic acid copolymer, a vinyl acetate polymer, an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate polymer, a acrylic or methacrylic acid polymer and a styrene-containing polymer;Group B: A polyester resin, a polyurethane resin, a polyvinyl chloride resin and an epoxy resin.
