    摘要: Presence of a catalyst formed from (A) a transition metal compound comprising (A-1) a transition metal atom, (A-2) a hetero atom-containing ligand containing a heteroatom selected from oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen and phosphorus capable of forming a bond with the transition metal atom, and (A-3) a ligand having a conjugated .pi. electron through which the ligand can be bonded to the transition metal atom (A-1), and (B) an aluminoxane. The transition metal compound is pre-treated with (C) an organometallic compound, or (D) a halogen-containing inorganic compound of an element of Group III, IV or V of the periodic table in an organic solvent.

    摘要: A cyclo-olefinic random copolymer composed of an alpha-olefin component having 3 to 20 carbon atoms and a cyclo-olefin component,(i) said copolymer containing 5 to 99 mole % of recurring units derived from said alpha-olefin component having 3 to 20 carbon atoms and 1 to 95 mole % of recurring units derived from said cyclo-olefin component, and(ii) said copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.], measured in decalin at 135.degree. C., of from 0.01 to 10 dl/g; and an olefinic random copolymer composed of (A) an olefin component having 3 to 20 carbon atoms and (B) a cyclic polyene component and as required, (C) a cyclo-olefin component,(i) said copolymer containing 5 to 99 mole % of recurring units derived from said alpha-olefin component (A) having 3 to 20 carbon atoms and 1 to 95 mole % of recurring units derived from said cyclic polyene component (B) and 0 to 90 mole % of recurring units derived from said cyclo-olefin component (C), and(ii) said copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.], measured in decalin at 135.degree.     摘要: A prepolymerized solid catalyst for gaseous phase or slurry polymerization of alpha olefins is disclosed. The catalyst comprises a porous carrier having a particle size of 20 to 200 microns onto which has been deposited an aluminoxane and a transition metal compound having at least one cycloalkadienyl group, the transition metal being from group 4 of the Periodic Table. The transition metal is present in an amount of 0.003 to 3 mmol/gm of carrier, and the aluminum to transition metal atomic ratio is from 15 to 1000. This catalyst is then prepolymerized with 0.2 to 30 gm of an alpha olefin per gram of catalyst to form the final prepolymerized solid catalyst having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.2 to 20 dl/gm as measured in decalin at 135 deg C.

    摘要: The invention relates to a polymerization catalyst for alpha-olefins and a process for polymerizing alpha-olefins. The catalyst comprises a component having a transition metal compound supported on a carrier and an aluminoxane. The carrier may be pre-treated with an organometallic compound, a halogen-containing silicon compound or an aluminoxane. Alternatively, the above two catalyst components are subjected to preliminary polymerization of olefins. The catalyst of this invention enables the production of a spherical polymer having a good particle size distribution, an excellent bulk density and a narrow molecular weight distribution in a slurry polymerization method or a vapor-phase polymerization method, particulary the vapor-phase polymerization method. When applied to the copolymerization of at least two olefins, the catalyst has excellent polymerization activity such that an olefin copolymer having a narrow molecular weight distribution and a narrrow composition distribution is obtained.

    摘要: This invention relates to a process for polymerizing olefins using a catalyst composed of a transition metal catalyst component, an aluminoxane component and an organoaluminum component. In the process of this invention, the catalyst exhibits excellent polymerization activity with the use of a small amount of the aluminoxane xane. The polymerization process gives olefin polymers having a narrow molecular weight distribution and by the copolymerization of two or more olefins, gives olefin copolymers having a narrow molecular weight distribution and a narrow composition distribution.
