The instruction notification instructs the pedestrian protection vehicle to move to the location of the pedestrian for protecting the pedestrian. Each of the autonomous driving vehicles is configured to move to the location of the pedestrian for protecting the pedestrian when the instruction notification is received.

摘要: An abnormality detection system is applied to an autonomous driving system of a target vehicle. The abnormality detection system stores travel plan information and reference travel information. The travel plan information and the reference travel information indicate a travel plan of the target vehicle and a travel record of a reference vehicle different from the target vehicle, respectively. The abnormality detection system calculates a deviation between the travel plan of the target vehicle and the travel record of the reference vehicle for each determination position based on the travel plan information and the reference travel information. The abnormality detection system extracts the determination position at which the deviation exceeds a threshold as an abnormal position related to an abnormality of the autonomous driving system. The abnormality detection system enables to appropriately detect the abnormality of the autonomous driving system independently of the recognition performance of the autonomous driving system.

摘要: A route search device includes a memory and a processor. The processor performs search processing for a route from a current position to a destination of a ride-sharing vehicle based on data stored in the memory. A standard route with the shortest requested time from the current position to the destination is calculated in the search processing. A high-frequency route with a frequency of encountering a pedestrian between the current position and the destination that is higher than the standard route is also calculated in the search processing. A recognition level is compared with a reference level in the search processing. When the recognition level is equal to or less than the reference level, the standard route is selected as a final route. When the recognition level is higher than the reference level, the high-frequency route is selected as the final route.

摘要: An automated driving trajectory generating device is configured to: recognize a mobile object which is located near a vehicle; calculate a host vehicle path for automated driving of the vehicle and a plurality of predicted paths of the mobile object based on a position of the vehicle on a map, a position of the mobile object on the map, and map information; calculate a predicted acceleration which is generated in the mobile object moving along a predicted path for each predicted path based on the plurality of predicted paths and a vehicle speed of the mobile object; identify a target path which is a predicted path used to generate the trajectory out of the plurality of predicted paths based on a result of comparison between the predicted acceleration and an acceleration threshold value; and generate the trajectory based on the host vehicle path and the target path.

摘要: A vehicle control system controls a vehicle that potentially requests remote support in a predetermined area. The vehicle control system acquires surrounding situation information including at least one of object information regarding an object around the vehicle and signal indication information indicating signal indication around the vehicle. The vehicle control system determines whether or not an exit passable condition is satisfied based on the surrounding situation information, the exit passable condition being a condition under which the vehicle is able to pass through a target exit from the predetermined area without waiting. When the exit passable condition is not satisfied, the vehicle control system withholds requesting the remote support in the predetermined area until a lifting condition is satisfied.
