摘要： An electronic control unit executes control such that a ratio of driving force output from a second motor in requested driving force when a hybrid vehicle travels in a charge depleting mode becomes larger than the ratio when the hybrid vehicle travels in a charge sustaining mode switched from the charge depleting mode by a mode selector switch. As a result, it becomes possible to suppress overheating of the second motor while cooling a first motor. When the mode selector switch is operated to select the charge depleting mode again, the second motor has already been cooled, so that performance of the second motor can sufficiently be demonstrated without a driving restriction due to overheating being imposed thereon. And, it becomes possible to suppress overheating of the second motor while achieving enhanced energy efficiency of the vehicle.

摘要： An ECU includes a running mode control unit, a Wout control unit, and an engine start/stop determination unit. The running mode control unit controls switching of a running mode including a CD mode in which an engine is stopped and running using a motor generator alone is given priority, and a CS mode in which the engine is operated and the SOC of a power storage device is maintained at a predetermined target. The engine start/stop determination unit carries out a start determination of the engine based on a discharge allowable power indicating electric power that can be discharged by the power storage device. The Wout control unit modifies the discharge allowable power based on the running mode and operation/stop of the engine.

The second planetary gear mechanism includes a fourth rotating element, a fifth rotating element, and a sixth rotating element. A brake is connected to the fifth rotating element. The electronic control unit is configured to turn on the brake at a time of high-vehicle-speed ignition-off of the hybrid vehicle such that the fifth rotating element is in a rotation stop state. The high-vehicle-speed ignition-off is that an ignition is off while the hybrid vehicle is traveling at a predetermined vehicle speed or higher while operating the internal combustion engine.

摘要： When a braking request is made while a SOC recovery switch is turned off, regeneration driving of a rear wheel motor is prohibited. In this case, a front wheel motor, the rear wheel motor, and an oil hydraulic brake device are controlled such that requested braking torque is exerted on a vehicle with regenerative driving of the front wheel motor and without regenerative driving of the rear wheel motor. When the braking request is made while the SOC recovery switch is turned on, the regeneration driving of the rear wheel motor is permitted. In this case, the front wheel motor, the rear wheel motor, and the oil hydraulic brake device are controlled such that the requested braking torque is exerted on the vehicle with regenerative driving of the front wheel motor and the rear wheel motor.
