摘要: An enclosure for a bathtub is constructed at a factory or other location remote from a site where the bathtub is to be permanently installed. The bathtub is placed permanently in the enclosure at the factory or remote location and once placed, the bathtub and enclosure are in condition for use at its permanent site without the necessity of further assembly.

摘要: The apparatus includes a container (20) having a base (22) and sides (32) adapted to receive a plurality of plastic gel cassettes. An inlet port (12) is positioned in the base of the container and in fluid communication with the chamber and a baffle (11) is positioned over the inlet port, such that, in use, when gel forming fluid passes through the inlet port into the chamber, the baffle substantially reduces fluid turbulence and vertical fluid movement in the vicinity of the inlet port during flow of the fluid into the chamber. Pretreatment of the plastic cassette to remove polymerisation inhibitors prior to filling the same with fluid is by exhaustive vacuum treatment, optionally with nitrogen gas purging. This can be achieved conveniently using a vacuum chamber in which one or more plastic cassettes are placed. Optionally the vacuum chamber may be the container in which the cassettes are filled with fluid. No barrier films or chemical scavengers are required.

摘要: A foamed glass product and its manufacturer are disclosed. According to the present invention, crushed glass particles and a foaming agent, preferably selected from CaCO.sub.3 and CaSO.sub.4, are provided. The glass particles and foaming agent are mixed and heated to a desired foaming temperature for creating foamed glass. A nonreactive gas having desired insulative properties, preferably selected from SO.sub.2 and CO.sub.2 is provided to sweep air away from the mixture during heating.

摘要: A method of optimizing bandwidth usage in a link aggregated network includes identifying available bandwidth on a plurality of data links in a link aggregation group, selecting the data link with the least available bandwidth, and determining whether the available bandwidth of the selected data link is less than a guaranteed bandwidth of an incoming data flow. If the available bandwidth of the selected data link is less than the guaranteed bandwidth of the incoming data flow, the method includes selecting the data link with the next least available bandwidth and repeating the previous steps until the available bandwidth of the selected data link is greater than the guaranteed bandwidth of the incoming data flow. The method further includes assigning the data flow to the data link determined to have an available bandwidth greater than the guaranteed bandwidth of the incoming data flow.

摘要: Information flow in the form of individual channels of digital data across a time division multiplex (TDM) bus is controlled when the bandwidth b.sub.c of an individual channel may not be integrally related to the bandwidth b.sub.t of individual time slots of the TDM bus. A channel is assigned to a selected number m of TDM bus time slots, where m=n and the relationship between b.sub.c and b.sub.t is given by the expression (n-1)b.sub.t

摘要: The fog-free dental mirror uses compressed air directed at and over the surface of the mirror to provide a protective air stream over the surface of the mirror to avoid the accumulation of moisture while keeping debris off of the surface of the dental mirror. The handle of the mirror is preferably aluminum, is multi-positionable and is ergonomically designed and allows for the novel regulation of airflow and quick connection of multi-positional mirror heads. The new and unique dental mirror is fully auto-clavable. Air flow level is settable by an actuator and retains its position with the set air flow even if the user releases pressure therefrom and even after a full blast of air is executed.
