    摘要: A heat sink assembly includes a circuit board, a first integrated circuit package and a second integrated circuit package mounted to the circuit board in a stacked relation to one another. A first heat sink is engaged to and is in thermal communication with the first integrated circuit package, and a second heat sink is engaged to and is in thermal communication with the second integrated circuit package, wherein each of the first and second heat sinks are positioned over the first and second integrated circuit packages on a single side of the circuit board. Optionally, the first heat sink may include an opening extending therethrough and exposing the second integrated circuit package. The second heat sink may extend through the opening and engage the second integrated circuit package.

    摘要: A connector assembly includes a floatable mounting apparatus that enables the connector assembly to correct for misalignment between mounting structures. The connector assembly also includes a connector housing having peripheral surfaces with an outer contour shaped to loosely fit in an inner contour of a mounting structure, such as a card, panel, circuit board, bulk head, rack assembly and the like. The connector housing is slidably inserted into the opening through the mounting structure. A chamber is provided in the connector housing adapted to securely retain contacts. At least one latch beam is formed with the connector housing and aligned to engage the mounting structure. A float gap is located between the inner contour of the opening through the mounting structure and the outer contour of the connector housing to enable relative movement therebetween. Guide pins are provided on a receptacle connector and guide pockets are provided on a plug connector to facilitate alignment therebetween during a mating operation. At least one of the receptacle and plug connectors are provided with a pattern of contact receiving cavities therein, in which the cavities are formed in staggered overlapping rows to afford a compact connector envelope while enabling large blades and large wire gauges to be used.

    摘要: An electrical connector assembly is provided for electrically connecting a plurality of coaxial cables to a circuit board. The assembly includes a housing having a mounting side portion configured to be mounted to the circuit board and a mating side portion opposite the mounting side portion. A plurality of coaxial cable connectors are held by the housing. Each coaxial cable connector includes an outer electrical contact and an inner electrical contact extending generally coaxially with each other. Each outer and inner electrical contact extends from a mating end portion on the mating side portion of the housing to a mounting end portion. The mounting end portion of each of the outer and inner electrical contacts is configured to be electrically connected to a corresponding electrical contact on the circuit board. The mating end portion of each of the outer and inner electrical contacts is configured to be electrically connected to an electrical contact of a corresponding one of the coaxial cables.

The slot is configured to receive a contact mating edge of a module. The slot defines a module retention plane along which a module is inserted into the slot. An end bracket is joined to the base and extends along the module retention plane. At least one locking member is disposed on the end bracket. The locking member is configured to engage the module to prevent removal of the module once the module is fully inserted into the base.

    摘要: A connector assembly is provided with a floatable mounting apparatus formed thereon to enable the connector assembly to correct for misalignment between mounting structures.
