摘要： A heat-dissipating member includes a heat-dissipating section which is plate-shaped and which is attachable to a heat source directly or indirectly and also includes a plurality of heat-dissipating projections extending from the heat-dissipating section. The heat-dissipating projections are formed by louvering the heat-dissipating section so as to have predetermined heights. The heat-dissipating projections are arranged in increasing order of height in the direction from one end of the heat-dissipating section to an end of the heat-dissipating section that is opposed to the one end. A thermal head includes a plurality of heating elements arranged thereon and a head mount attached to the above heat-dissipating member directly or indirectly.

The rotary indicator is arranged between the first and second dial plates and has a function indicator to selectively indicate one of the function display portions by rotation. The rotary indicator is partially exposed through the opening or the cutout. The rotary indicator has, on the surface thereof, a plurality of index markers respectively corresponding to the function display portions. The first dial plate has a second opening or a second cutout to expose one of the index markers when the function indicator indicates one of the function display portions corresponding to the indicated function display portion.

摘要： A cleaning structure for removing dust is constituted of a guiding member having a sliding surface for guiding run of a tape, and a vacuum pressure supply source for making a vacuum pressure effect on a suction space provided inside the guiding member and so on. At the sliding surface of the guiding member, a suction port for making the suction space communicate with an external space is formed, and the opening edge of the suction port on the downstream side in the tape running direction is served as a first dust removal portion for removing dust on the tape surface. The guiding member has a guiding wall having a contact surface which guides at least one tape edge of a tape, and the contact surface is served as a second dust removal portion for removing dust adhering to the tape edge.

摘要： An electromagnetic field generating element includes a conductor that generates near-field light when irradiated with light and generates a magnetic field when a current flows through the conductor. The electromagnetic field generating element further includes a soft magnetic body provided at a position along a dimension of the conductor, the dimension being perpendicular to (i) a direction in which the conductor faces a magnetic recording medium to which the near-field light and the magnetic field are applied and to (ii) a direction in which the current flows. The present invention thus allows for provision of an electromagnetic field generating element that allows for reduction in its power consumption in optically assisted magnetic read/write using near-field light.

摘要： A burner 1 for combustion chamber is provided with a cylindrical mixing portion 3 that mixes air for combustion (oxidizing agent) and fuel in the interior thereof and has one end 3a that opens to a combustion portion 2; a spray nozzle (fuel spraying portion) 5 that sprays fuel in the mixing portion 3, being disposed on another end 3b of the mixing portion 3; first blowing ports 6 that introduce the air for combustion to the mixing portion 3 to form a swirling flow with the fuel, being disposed to open to the inner wall of the mixing portion 3; and second blowing ports 7 that additionally introduce the air for combustion to the mixing portion 3, opening in a direction different from the first blowing ports 6 and being disposed further to the other end 3b side of the mixing portion 3 than the swirling flow. The burner for combustion chamber and combustion method of the present invention can shorten the flame length in the central axial direction by improving the combustion efficiency even during low loading and shorten the overall length of the burner for combustion chamber in the central axial direction.

摘要： An optical voltage transformer is connected with an external electric device and includes a primary electrode to which a measured voltage is applied by the external electric device, a first secondary electrode provided oppositely to the primary electrode, an insulation layer provided between the primary and first secondary electrodes and constituting an insulation cylinder integrally formed with the primary and first secondary electrodes, a ground layer provided on an outer circumference of the insulation cylinder and around the first secondary electrode for securing a capacitance by interposing the insulation layer between the ground layer and the first secondary electrode, and an electro-optic element for measuring a voltage between the first secondary electrode and the ground layer. According to the optical voltage transformer, measurement of the measured voltage can be done with high accuracy without affected by its surrounding environment and its downsizing can be achieved by reducing the number of its components.
