    摘要: A device for adjusting the intake air temperature of a carburetor-equipped internal combustion engine whose air intake system has a flapper valve in a duct junction admitting cold raw air and/or preheated raw air to the intake filter, depending on the raw air temperature, the flapper valve position being controlled by a pneumatic membrane actuator which receives negative pressure from the intake manifold, via a vacuum line with a thermostat-controlled relief valve responsive to the temperature of the air mixture. In the drive connection between the membrane actuator and the flapper is arranged a wax thermostat which increases or decreases the effective length of the connection in response to the ambient air temperature, thereby adding the thermostat displacements to the actuator displacements, the effective length of the drive connection being further adjustable by means of a threaded connection which is arranged between the membrane support body of the actuator and the wax thermostat.

    摘要: A method for generating a network, in particular a telecommunications, water, long-distance heat supply, or power network, the network connecting all users to a main distribution node depending on the existing or definable local needs and requirements of the individual users. A graph is generated which is composed of edges and nodes. The graph includes all technically feasible and/or definable transmission paths of the network. The length and direction of the edges are derived from the real topography of the street segments and definable cable paths of the territory to be supplied by the network. The nodes form the intersections between the edges or streets and/or cable paths. The users are assigned to the graph in such a way that each user is connected to the closest edge or the closest node of the graph by an additional service edge. A tree structure is created by removing unnecessary edges from the graph in such a way that the service edges, edges, and nodes of the tree structure form only one connection between the main distribution node and each user. The load of the edges in the tree structure is determined depending on the needs and requirements of the users.

    摘要: An air intake filter for internal combustion engines has a flat, replaceable filter insert 20, through which the air flows transversely in operation, and which has a gasket 22 disposed on the periphery for sealing at the face side against a ledge 15 of the filter housing 11. The insert can be inserted into the filter housing through a narrow side, the sealing pressure being produced by a cover 50 which has two sliding wedges 51 and 53. To bring it about that, when the sealing pressure is applied, the gasket 22 will not be shifted laterally with respect to the ledge 15 of the filter housing 11, the cover, which is in the form of a substantially open frame, replaceably accommodates the filter insert. The cover is provided with cams 40 and 41 which serve to fix the frame 30 in an extended position during the replacement of the filter insert. Also the lateral walls 25 and 26 of the filter housing and the lateral walls 45 and 46 of the frame 30 are inclined wedgewise to avoid large frictional forces between the adjacent surfaces when the filter is installed and removed.

    摘要: An air filter, particularly for the intake air of an internal-combustion engine, including a housing 13, an air filter insert 16 arranged in the housing, and a cover 10 closing off the housing 13. The air filter insert 16 is essentially a rectangular cartridge which has a surrounding seal 18. This seal 18 is clamped in between the housing 13 and the cover 10 in such a manner that it separates the unfiltered-air space from the filtered-air space. In addition, clamps 19 are provided which fasten the cover and the housing to each other and the filter cartridge is simultaneously secured in the housing. Direct supporting contact between the cover 10 and the housing 13 occurs only adjacent the clamps 19, and simultaneously the seal has a very low Shore hardness. As a result, the cover no longer rests as previously on the housing over the whole length of the seal, but only in the area of the clamps.

    摘要: A suction air filter for a combustion engine includes a filter housing for receiving a filter insert and an attachment housing to which the filter housing is attached. The filter housing has a coupling end for coupling with a corresponding coupling end of the attachment housing. The suction air filter has an unfiltered air intake and a pure air outlet. A plurality of cam members are mounted on the outside of the filter housing near the coupling end thereof, and a plurality of cam elements are mounted on the outside of the attachment housing near the coupling end thereof. A rotatable coupling ring is mounted to receive the coupling ends of the filter housing and the attachment housing, and the coupling ring carries wedge members which are engagable with the cam members and the cam elements to releasably couple together the coupling ends of the housings. Dust protection shoulders or labyrinth seals are provided on both sides of the coupling ring to prevent dust from penetrating in the closure area of the attachment portion and the housing. A turning of the coupling ring effects a fixing of the filter housing to the attachment housing.
