摘要: Moulding compositions containingA. 6 to 30 parts by weight of graft polymer obtained by grafting 20 to 60 parts by weight of a mixture of styrene and acrylonitrile in a ratio by weight of 95 : 5 to 60 : 40 onto 80 to 40 parts by weight of polybutadiene or a butadiene copolymer with a butadiene content of at least 30% with an average particle diameter of 0.26 to 0.65.mu. and a grafting degree of 0.15 to 0.7;B. 14 to 45 parts by weight of a graft polymer obtained by polymerizing 40 to 60 parts by weight of a mixture of styrene and acrylonitrile in a ratio by weight of 95 : 5 to 60 : 40 onto 60 to 40 parts by weight of polybutadiene or a butadiene copolymer with a butadiene content of at least 30%, with an average particle diameter of 0.05 to 0.25.mu. and a grafting degree of 0.4 to 0.9; andC. 25 to 80 parts by weight of a copolymer of styrene and/or .alpha.-methyl styrene on the one hand and acrylonitrile on the other hand in a ratio by weight of 80 : 20 to 60 : 40 and an average molecular weight (mean weight) M.sub.w of 50,000 to 200,000 and a molecular heterogeneity of U = 4.5 to 1.0.

摘要: Mixtures of(1) 99 to 1% of one or more segment copolymers of alternating linear or branched segments A and B wherein A are polymer blocks of aromatic vinyl compounds with Tg>20.degree. C. (hard segment) and B are polymer blocks containing polymerized conjugated dienes with Tg>0.degree. C. (soft segment), and(2) 1 to 99% of one or more aromatic polycarbonates in which the linear chains consist to an extent of at least 50% of structural units of the formula ##STR1## wherein X=C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkylene or alkylidene.

摘要: The toughness of polybutylene terephthalate can be considerably improved by the addition of an ABS-graft copolymer having a relatively high content of graft base and a closely defined particle size; the typical properties of polybutylene terephthalate, such as its high dimensional heat stability, hardness and rigidity, are not substantially reduced. The products show an excellent multiaxial impact strength.

摘要: Process for the removal of residual monomers from ABS polymers prepared by emulsion polymerization, wherein from 0.1 to 10% by weight, based on the solids content in the latex, of an electrolyte such as an acid or a salt are added to a latex containing an ABS polymer, and the mixture is at the same time heated to a temperature of from 55.degree. to 120.degree. C. while the residual monomer and part of the water are removed by distillation.
