摘要: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for updating a search index with new uniform resource locators (URLs) and spiking URLs with increased user interest. History data, provided from browser applications residing on users' computers that indicate URLs accessed by the users, is parsed to identify new/previously unknown URLs. The history data also indicates URLs in which there is increased interest based on a number of recent hits as compared to an average number of hits determined over time. Author postings of new URLs to social networking sites and a quality rating of the authors may also be used to identify and filter new URLs. Search indexes are updated with the new and spiking URL data. As such, lag time between posting of new URLs and spiking of URL interest and inclusion of this data in a search index is greatly decreased.

摘要: Disclosed is a PTZ video visibility detection method based on luminance characteristic, which includes acquiring a road condition video image by utilizing a PTZ video camera, extracting the region of interest ROI of the road surface to obtain high constancy of selected pixels; acquiring precise road surface region by utilizing region-growing algorism based on Nagao filtering to ensure the illuminance constancy of the selected pixels in world coordinates; in the road surface region, extracting the contrast curve which reflects the luminance variation of the road surface, and searching the feature points of the luminance curve to calculate the human eye distinguishable and maximum far pixels in the image with an extinction coefficient; calculating the maximum visibility distance in combination with camera calibration to determine the visibility value. The present invention can take full advantage of existing PTZ camera to video the road condition and acquire the image without the need of providing any artificial marker. Monitoring can be in real time and has a low monitoring cost, and the monitoring requirement of large area road condition can be satisfied. Monitoring is stable and can not be disturbed by environment. It is a visibility detecting method with the advantages of simpleness, easy realization, high precision and excellent use effect.

摘要: Knot rejects from chemical pulping processes are subjected to acid hydrolysis or an enzymatic hydrolysis treatment. The resultant hydrolysate is enriched with glucose, representing a value-added raw material for products using hexoses. The residue, separated from the said hydrolysate after the acid hydrolysis or enzyme treatment, consists of mainly knots or chips. The residue has a much improved aesthetic appearance which can be readily used as value-added raw materials for mulch or similar applications. The residue could also be extracted to obtain high value antioxidants and other nutraceutical chemicals such as lignans or can be utilized according to currently known practices including recooking, burning and depositing.
