    摘要: A combustion catalyst for removing organic compounds which includes a mixture of a zeolite and a metal oxide containing at least one of the elements of the platinum group. Another combustion catalyst for removing organic compounds which comprises an alumina having such a pore size distribution that, where “a” represents a pore radius in Å at the maximum of the pore size distribution curve, the accumulated pore volume of pores having radii in the range of “a” ±25 Å is at least 65% of the total volume of all the pores, the alumina containing less than 1% by weight of rare earth elements and being loaded with one or more elements of the platinum group. A process for removing organic compounds, the process including the step of contacting organic compounds with either one of the above catalysts.

    摘要: In views of a disadvantage that in a conventional method for localization of sound image in stereo listening, the amount of software is increased and the scale of hardware is enlarged, this invention has been achieved to solve such a problem and intends to provide a processing method for audio signal to be inputted from an appropriate sound source capable of higher precision localization of sound image than the conventional method. When a sound generated from an appropriate sound source SS is processed as an audio signal in the order of inputs on time series, the inputted audio signal is transformed into audio signals for the left and right ears of a person and further each of the audio signals is divided to at least two frequency bands. Then, the divided audio signal of each band is subjected to a processing for controlling an element for a feeling of the direction of a sound source SS and an element for a feeling of the distance up to that sound source, which are appealed to person's auditory sense and outputting the processed audio signal.

    摘要: Catalysts for removing organic compounds from a gas stream containing the same and processes for removing organic compounds from the gas stream using the cataylst are disclosed. According to the first aspect, a combustion catalyst for removing organic compounds comprises a mixture of a zeolite and a metal oxide containing at least one of the elements of the platinum group.     摘要: In an adsorbent for use in chromatography comprised of secondary particles formed by aggregation of primary particles in the form of fine crystals of hydroxyapatite, the aggregated primary particles are sintered so as to be bonded together. The adsorbent is produced by heating the secondary particles at a temperature not lower than 300.degree. C. and not higher than the decomposition temperature thereof, and has significantly improved repetitive using properties. In a column system for use in chromatography, there are provided a main column packed with the above described adsorbent and a precolumn packed with a second adsorbent comprised of conventional hydroxyapatite particles. This column has also a significantly improved repetitive using properties.
