The method includes moving a movable member about a fixed position to move a read/write head coupled to a slider to a selected track on a disk. The selected track is at least one of a plurality of tracks. The method includes adjusting a position of the read/write head using an actuating device integrated on the gimbal. The actuating step moves the read/write head relative in a manner normal to the track on the magnetic disk to align the read/write head on the track using a finer and faster alignment of the read/write head than the moveable support member.

    摘要: Systems and methodologies for efficient inductive charging of electronic devices are provided herein. A charging device as described herein can utilize a sensor-integrated resonating circuit with automatic frequency control to provide low-cost inductive charging functionality for electronic devices. As further described herein, a device to be charged can be equipped with a power receiver operable to receive power from the charging device via electromagnetic induction. The power receiver can additionally be utilized for initiation of charging such that charging for a device commences upon its associated power receiver being brought within range of an inductive charging surface at the charging device. Further, a charging device as described herein can have an inductive charging surface as well as a non-charging surface for providing other services such as information display. A charging device can integrate with an external information source to obtain items to be displayed at a non-charging surface thereon.

    摘要: An asymmetric flywheel is coupled to an input gear that is attached to a lever or alike. The input gear and flywheel gear are engaged as the user rotates the lever. As a result, the flywheel spins and electricity is generated by the micro electromagnetic generator. When there is no direct user manual input, the input gear and the flywheel gear are disengaged. The flywheel is an unbalanced pivoted mass that rotates with inertial forces from physical accelerations by user's movement and gravitational forces, similar to a self-winding mechanism automatic watch. AC electricity is generated as a result of the flywheel's movement.
