摘要: By employing easy determination logic, the amount of communication required for broadcasting and relaying is effectively reduced, and the message transmission efficiency is improved. A mobile terminal T2 includes determination logic. According to this logic, when a message is issued, via an arbitrary terminal, by a transmission source terminal T0 to a relay terminal T1, and the message is relayed by the relay terminal T1 to the terminal T2, the terminal T2 calculates an information progress vector I, which indicates the direction in which information progresses, and a terminal progress vector M, which indicates the direction in which the terminal T2 progresses. Then, the terminal T2 obtains an inner product cos θ for which the information progress vector I and the terminal progress vector M are standardized, and forwards the received message when the condition cos θ≧0 is established.

摘要: Group communication is performed in the wireless ad-hoc network that has a rearrangement frequency of connection higher than the communication frequency due to the movement of communication terminals 101 to 116. Communication terminals 101 to 116 stores the identification information and valid time periods of adjoining terminals into the group management table 11, as well as its own station's time period during which it belongs to the group, and send a packet with appending its own identification information and further a valid time period of the group based on the information about the valid time periods stored in the group management table 11.

摘要: An embodiment is directed to a hybrid cloud environment wherein a user of cloud computing services is disposed to consume cloud provided services delivered by each of a plurality of cloud computing service providers. Specified event data is received at an MCS component, wherein the event data pertains to metering events related to consumed services delivered by one or more cloud service providers. Event data includes event data furnished by one or more entities that actively monitor metering events at one or more local or remote cloud service provider locations. Event data is sent from the MCS component to a metering system, and the metering system generates reports from the event data that contains usage information on services provided by one or more cloud service providers, wherein information for a provider specifies amounts and quality of each type of service delivered to users by the provider.

摘要: A method and apparatus for connecting an information processor to any network to perform communications are disclosed. A setting information indicating network settings to be set for an information processor when performing communications via a network is stored. A route setting packet, which is sent by a network device connected to the network to which the information processor is connected, is acquired to set a route to be used by the network device to communicate with another device. A device identification information for identifying a network device from which the route setting packet was sent is extracted from the route setting packet. The information processor is allowed to perform communications by acquiring the setting information associated with the extracted device identification information, and the information is specifically set for the information processor.

摘要: A process for measuring an unbalance of a torque converter, in which an outer member and an inner member of the torque converter are assembled, and oil is filled into the outer member to establish a condition similar to an actual service state of the torque converter. In this condition, the two members are rotated in unison. If the rotational speed of the torque converter reaches a measuring rotational speed, a plurality of measurements are conducted with the phase of the outer and inner members being varied between each measurement through a predetermined angle, thereby correctly detecting only an unbalance due to the outer member, with an unbalance due to the inner member being canceled from the results of the measurements. Cutting a balance weight having a weight sufficient to correct the detected unbalance from a metal tape and attached said cut balance weight to an outer periphery of the outer member of the torque converter at a given position by spot-welding or adhesive-bonding.

摘要: A mobile communication system for designating a specific location and for selecting a call destination is provided. A server stores and manages the locational information (latitude and longitude) for the individual mobile stations. When each of the mobile stations transmits, to the server, mail including the designation of the locational range for a communication partner and other information to be provided, the server uses the locational information of the mobile stations and the range included in the mail (latitude and longitude at the center, and radius) to determine whether the location of a pertinent mobile station falls within the designated range, and thus obtains the user names of all the mobile stations present in the range. When there are too many mobile stations in the range, the server reduces the number of mobile stations and selects mobile stations based on user attributes. The server then transmits, to the thus selected mobile stations, mail including the information to be provided.

摘要: A ball quantitative supply system is comprised of an upper plate, a lower plate and a rotary block rotatably retained between the upper and lower plates. The upper plate is provided with a ball receiving aperture for receiving balls fed from a ball feeder, and a ball confirming aperture for confirming a predetermined number of balls, the apertures being provided to extend through different portions of the plate when seen in top plan. The lower plate is provided with a ball discharge aperture extending therethrough. The rotary block is provided with a ball receptacle extending therethrough for receiving a predetermined number of balls. The positions of provision of the ball receiving aperture, ball confirming aperture and ball discharge aperture are displaced from each other at an equal interval of 120.degree. as viewed in top plan. With this arrangement, it become possible for the ball receptacle to receive a fixed number of balls, negating the necessity to count the balls using an expensive counter, whereby an apparatus of the described type can be provided at a low cost.
