摘要: A resin-made air cleaner includes a hollow resin-made housing, a tubular element accommodated in the housing, a tubular projection, a gasket fitted around the tubular projection, and disposed between the tubular element and the tubular projection, a stopper for inhibiting the gasket from moving. The tubular projection is disposed on at least one of opposite end surfaces of the housing so as to project toward the inside of the housing. The stopper is disposed on the projection and/or the opposite end surfaces of the housing, on which the projection is disposed. This arrangement not only enables the increase of the resin content of the air cleaner, but also inhibits the gasket from coming off from the projection when the element is disassembled.

摘要: A stator is provided with a ring-shaped outer stator-projection and a ring-shaped inner stator-projection. A plunger is provided with a ring-shaped outer plunger-projection and a ring-shaped inner plunger-projection. A magnetic force is generated at three portions between the plunger and the stator. The inner stator-projection has a first tapered surface and the outer plunger-projection has a second tapered surface. The first tapered surface and the second tapered surface confront each other when the plunger moves toward the stator.

摘要: A valve timing control apparatus includes a linear solenoid having a coil, a casing, a needle, a pair of cylindrical stators and a cylindrical spacer. The pair of cylindrical stators oppose with each other through an air gap in an axis direction. The pair of stators and the needle form a magnetic circuit so as to drive the needle to reciprocate. The cylindrical spacer fits with an outer circumference side of the pair of stators so as to restrict a short circuit from being generated in the magnetic circuit between the pair of stators. The spacer defines a discharge passage that connects the air gap to a discharge port of the casing.

摘要: A bobbin and a magnetic transmitting/receiving stator are positioned by fitting two positioning projections provided for a bobbin flange into two positioning holes formed in a stator flange. The positioning hole has a circular shape and the positioning projection has a flat oval shape which matches a diameter part of the circular shape so that a resin-passing gap is formed between the shapes. Since the resin-passing gap plays the role equivalent to the role of a resin passing hole, the total number of positioning holes and the resin passing holes can be reduced, and magnetic flux passing through the stator flange can be prevented from decreasing. Since a post-forming resin flows through the resin-passing gap in the positioning part, the flow of the post-forming resin can be made uniform in the whole periphery, and occurrence of poor molding can be restricted.

摘要: A valve timing controller has a control valve and a linear solenoid. The control valve is disposed in an interlocking rotor constructed by a vane rotor and a camshaft. The linear solenoid includes a movable member having an output shaft, and a bearing portion supporting the movable member to reciprocate and rotate. A spool of the control valve is contact with the output shaft. The output shaft contacts a sphere-shaped end surface of the spool, at a contact position offset in a radial direction from a center axis of the spool.

摘要: A check valve is provided in a fluid passage between a phase change valve and a fluid supply source. The check valve enables a flow of the hydraulic fluid from the fluid supply source to a retarding chamber or an advancing chamber defined in a housing in corporation with a vane rotor received therein. The check valve blocks a flow of the hydraulic fluid from the retarding chamber or the advancing chamber to a fluid supply source side. A filter is provided in the fluid passage between the check valve and the fluid supply source to remove debris from the hydraulic fluid before supplying of the hydraulic fluid to the check valve.

摘要: An electromagnetic valve device reduces wear of a moving member and a non-magnetic member sliding against the moving member and prevents contamination from contacting the sliding part. The moving member is directly and movably supported in a reciprocating manner by a non-magnetic cup. The moving member has a hard layer made of nickel containing PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) particles at the sliding part located against the cup. The hardness of the hard layer is high and is approximately the hardness of the stainless steel cup. Therefore, the wear of both the moving member and the cup can be reduced. The hard layer contains the PTFE particles, and therefore the sliding part between the moving member and the cup is lubricated by the PTFE, which reduces the sliding resistance at the sliding part and improves the responsiveness of the device.
