    摘要: A mirror with lighting system includes a plurality of organic electroluminescent elements arranged adjacent to one another. A light emission switching device selects one of a full light emission state where all the organic electroluminescent elements emit light, a partial light emission state where some of the organic electroluminescent elements emit light, and a non-light emission state where all the organic electroluminescent elements do not emit light. Therefore, the mirror with lighting system has great light intensity without an external lighting when being used as a lighting system as compared to when being used as a mirror, and permits the entire surface to be used as a mirror when the environment is bright.

    摘要: An impact tool includes a reaction force transmitting member, a first elastic member that biases the transmitting member forward, and a second elastic member that is pushed by the transmitting member and compressively deforms when the transmitting member moves rearward by receiving a striking reaction force caused when a tool bit strikes a workpiece, thereby cushioning the force. When the tool bit is pressed against the workpiece, the transmitting member is pushed by the tool bit and compresses the first elastic member, and comes in contact with the second elastic member in an uncompressed state, so that the transmitting member is placed in a predetermined working position in the longitudinal direction. When the transmitting member receives the striking reaction force in the working position, the transmitting member moves rearward in the axial direction of the tool bit and compressively deforms the second elastic member, thereby cushioning the striking reaction force.

    摘要: A free casting method according to the present invention includes, a lead-out step for leading out molten metal from a lead-out area provided in a source of supply, e.g. a surface level of the molten metal, to retain the molten metal temporarily by surface films generated on an outer surface, and a forming step for obtaining a formed body by solidifying retained molten metal led out along a set passage depending on a desired casting shape, wherein the retained molten metal is solidified after being formed into the desired casting shape by applying an external force thereto at positions between an unrestrained root portion of the retained molten metal in vicinity of the surface level of the molten metal and a solidification interface defined as a boundary between the retained molten metal and the formed body in the forming step.

    摘要: A microorganism belonging to the Gram-positive cocci having not less than about 55 mol % of guanine plus cytosine content of DNA is cultivated in a medium. Trehalose is produced and extracellularly accumulated in the medium with a good yield. The present method, therefore, brings about a feasible method for the industrial production of trehalose. Preferably, the microorganism used is Deinococcus proteolyticus (IFO 15345), Deinococcus erythromyxa (IFO 15344), Deinococcus radiopugnans (IFO 15348), Micrococcus varians (FERM BP-4238 and IFO 3765), Micrococcus agilis (IFO 15323) or Microccus luteus (IFO 3067 and IFO 12708).
