    摘要: Methods of forming packaged micro-electromechanical devices include forming a first substrate having a micro-electromechanical device therein, which extends adjacent a first surface of the first substrate. A first surface of a second substrate is then bonded to the first surface of the first substrate, to thereby encapsulate the micro-electromechanical device within a space provided between the first and second substrates. Subsequent to bonding, a second surface of the second substrate is selectively etched to define at least one through-substrate opening therein, which exposes an electrode of the micro-electromechanical device. Thereafter, the through-substrate opening is filled with an electrically conductive through-substrate via.

    摘要: Embodiments of present invention disclose a system and a method for determining a result of a function applied to a first vector and a second vector, wherein the function is a normalized sum-type function. The first vector is stored at a first processor, and the second vector is stored at a second processor. The system and the method determine a joint empirical probability distribution (JEPD) of the first vector and the second vector using a secure multi-party computation. The function is determined as a normalized summation of products of values of the JEPD with corresponding values of the function.

    摘要: A beat-pattern based error concealment system and method which detects drum-like beat patterns of music signals on the encoder side of the system and embeds the beat information as data ancillary to a preceding audio data interval in the transmitted compressed bitstream. The embedded information is then used to perform an error concealment task on the decoder side of the system. The beat detector functions as part of an error concealment system in an audio decoding section used in audio information transfer and audio download-streaming system terminal devices such as mobile phones. The disclosed sender-based method improves error concealment performance while reducing decoder complexity.
