    摘要: A superconductor layer is formed on one side of a dielectric substrate, and with this superconductor layer as a conductor layer of the bottommost layer, superconductor layers and dielectric layers are alternately laminated with each other. Thus, a superconducting multilayer electrode is provided which is laminated with at least one TEM mode transmission line which is constituted of a pair of superconductor layers with a dielectric layer sandwiched in between, and the superconductor layer and the dielectric layer have film thicknesses which are set so that the maximum value of the current density flowing through each superconductor layer becomes the same. The resistance to electric power of the superconducting multilayer electrode is proportional to the number of laminated layers.

    摘要: A multi-layer thin-film electrode comprises thin conductor films and thin dielectric films each being alternately laminated on a dielectric substrate, in which an electro-magnetic field generated in the dielectric substrate and that generated in each of the thin dielectric films have substantially the same phase at a predetermined frequency. According to the multi-layer thin-film electrode of the present invention, adhesive conductor films that more readily form metallic oxide as compared with the thin conductor films are provided between the dielectric substrate and the thin conductor films adjacent thereto and between each of the thin conductor films and the thin dielectric film adjacent thereto, respectively, and an increase in the surface reactance of the thin conductor films caused by the adhesive conductor film formation is canceled by correcting the thickness of each of the thin dielectric films based on the dielectric constant of the thin dielectric film and the dielectric substrate and the thickness of at least one of the adhesive conductor films.

    摘要: A dielectric resonator device has a dielectric member. Electrodes are respectively formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the dielectric member. The dielectric resonator device resonates at a mode having electric field components in a direction perpendicular to the upper and lower surface of the dielectric member. The electrodes formed on the dielectric member are each formed of a thin film multi layered electrode produced by alternately laminating thin film electrode layers and thin film dielectric layers. Each thin film dielectric layer which is sandwiched between the thin film multi layered electrode layers serves as a dielectric resonator. Accordingly, the thin film multi layered electrode acts as a laminated structure of a plurality of dielectric resonators. Thus, a current distributes over the plurality of thin film electrode layers, thereby alleviating the current concentration on the surface of the dielectric member. As a consequence, conduction losses of the overall resonator unit are reduced.

    摘要: A resonator can provide good loss characteristics by effectively suppressing power losses due to an edge effect. In addition, a filter, a duplexer, and a communication device incorporating the resonator are formed. In the resonator, a plurality of spiral lines are disposed on a surface of a dielectric substrate in such a manner that the inner and outer ends of the lines are aligned respectively along an inner periphery and an outer periphery which are centered around a central point on the substrate so that the lines do not cross each other. With this arrangement, the edge effect in the spiral lines is substantially canceled, by which power losses due to the edge effect can be effectively suppressed.

    摘要: An NRD waveguide band-pass filter apparatus is provided which is simple in construction, which can be easily manufactured as well as being small in size and light in weight, and which operates in a single operating mode. The NRD waveguide band-pass filter apparatus includes a plurality of NRD waveguide resonators arrayed in such a way that each two adjacent NRD waveguide resonators are electromagnetically coupled to each other. A plurality of arrayed rectangular dielectric waveguides are interposed between an upper surface portion and a lower surface portion of a rectangular dielectric housing, which are parallel to each other. The upper surface portion and the lower surface portion and the plurality of arrayed rectangular dielectric waveguides are formed integrally, thus forming the housing. A first superconducting electrode and a second superconducting electrode are formed on the outer surfaces of the upper surface portion and the lower surface portion, respectively. By setting the spacing between the first and second superconducting electrodes at one-half or less of the wavelength of the resonance frequency in a vacuum of the present apparatus, the portions outside of each dielectric waveguide form cut-off regions.
