摘要: A liquid crystal display includes: a gate line disposed on a substrate to transmit a first gate signal to switching elements; a data line crossing the gate line to transmit a data voltage to the switching elements; a boosting gate line disposed on the substrate to transmit a second gate signal; a pixel electrode disposed on the substrate and including a first subpixel electrode and a second subpixel electrode; a first switching element connected to the first subpixel electrode; a second switching element connected to the second subpixel electrode; a boosting capacitor including a first terminal connected to the first subpixel electrode; a third switching element connected to a second terminal of the boosting capacitor; and a fourth switching element including a gate electrode connected to the boosting gate line, a source electrode connected to the second subpixel electrode, and a drain electrode connected to the second terminal.

A liquid crystal display according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention includes a substrate, and a pixel electrode formed on the substrate and including a plurality of minute branches. The pixel electrode includes a first region and a second region where a first distance and a second distance are provided according to an interval between the respective neighboring minute branches, wherein the second distance that is larger than the first distance, and a third region is provided between the first region and the second region, and the position of the third region having an interval between the neighboring minute branches is gradually changed.

摘要: An apparatus and method of preventing signal delay in display device according to the present invention includes a first substrate, a driving portion formed on the first substrate, a plurality of signal lines formed on the first substrate to transmit signals to the driving portion, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a conductive member formed on the second substrate, wherein the driving portion overlaps with the conductive member, and the signal lines and the conductive member do not overlap. Accordingly, the capacitances between the signal lines may be substantially the same.
