摘要： A mobile communication system includes a plurality of base stations and a mobile station communicating with the base station through a wireless channel. The system comprises a part which measures an amount of information transferred between the base station and the mobile station and a comparator which compares the measured amount of information with first and second threshold values corresponding to a currently used wireless channel. A wireless channel changeover part changes the current wireless channel to a wireless channel with a transmission capability higher or lower than that of the current wireless channel when the measured amount of information is above the first threshold value or below the second threshold value, respectively.

摘要： A call-admission controller is disclosed that allocates, out of shared resources in a communications system, resources required for communication in multiple calls of different priorities. The controller includes an impact-judging unit configured to make a judgment of, when having detected a low-priority call, the impact of the low priority call on the communications system, and a low-priority call admission-determining unit configured to make, based on the impact of which the judgment is made, a determination of whether to admit the low-priority call.

摘要： A base station of a mobile communication system includes a receiver that receives capability information including information regarding plural frequencies which are measurable by the user equipment; an identifying unit that identifies, subsequent to allocation of radio resources to the user equipment, one or more different frequencies which are measurable by the user equipment and different from a frequency of a serving cell, among the plural frequencies in the capability information; and a transmitter that transmits a different frequency measurement command signal for commanding the user equipment to measure the identified one or more different frequencies or all the different frequencies, which are measurable by the user equipment, to the user equipment. The receiver receives a report signal indicating presence or absence of coverage for each of the one or more different frequencies from the user equipment that performs the measurement in response to the different frequency measurement command signal.

摘要： In a mobile communication system, definite resources in radio sectors are allocated to more users in an aspect that the users hardly feel stress during communication. When a call corresponds to an active call based on an active connection request that has been generated by a user's operation (that is, transmitting and obtaining delivery information of pull-type by means of arrows AC, DL or the like), as a trigger, more resources (communication rate is higher) are allocated to the call. When the call corresponds to a non-active call (that is, receiving and obtaining delivery information of push-type by means of an arrow SU or the like), fewer resources (communication rate is lower) are allocated to the call.
