    摘要: The lock-up device includes: a clutch part disposed between a front cover and a turbine; and a damper mechanism for transmitting torque from the clutch part to the turbine and for absorbing and attenuating a torsional vibration. The damper mechanism includes: an input plate into which torque is inputted from the clutch part; an output plate connected to the turbine; a plurality of torsion springs; an intermediate member; and a restriction member. The intermediate member is rotatable relatively to the input plate and the output plate, and causes two torsion springs to act in series. The restriction member is mounted to the input plate, and restricts the intermediate member from moving in both of an axial direction and a radial direction.

The upper electrode is not formed in the device isolation region, whereby the short-circuit between the upper electrode and the lower electrode in the cavity can be prevented.

    摘要: The invention has been made to provide a flow control valve capable of preventing adhesion between a fixed core and a movable core and increasing an attractive force, so that flow control can be performed with high accuracy. In a flow control valve 10, a first fixed core 23a is fixed in an upper part of a coil bobbin 21, a second fixed core 23b is fixed in a lower part of the coil bobbin 21, and the movable core 24 is formed at its lower end with a flange 24a having a diameter larger than an inner diameter of the coil bobbin 21. The movable core 24 is placed inside a cylindrical part 28a of the flared pipe 28 so that a distance D1 between the first fixed core 23a and the movable core 24 is larger than a distance D2 between the flange 24a and a disc part 28b of the flared pipe 28.

The first claw portions 61 are fixedly coupled to the turbine 11. The driven member 51 has a plurality of second claw portions 59 that are axially movably and non-rotatably engaged with the first claw portions 61. The drive member 50 radially positions the driven member 51.

The piston 38 is non-rotatably and axially movably coupled to the front cover 2. The piston 38 has an inner diameter S that is larger than an outer diameter of the damper mechanism 40. The piston 38 is arranged radially outside the damper mechanism 40. A seal ring 67 is disposed between the outer peripheral surface of the driven member 53 and the inner peripheral surface of the piston 38 for sealing spaces on its axially opposite sides from each other.

    摘要: A clutch-actuated piston structure is provided for engaging and releasing a clutch engaging member 23 of a power disconnecting clutch 9. The clutch-actuated piston structure is especially useful in a torque converter. The clutch-actuated piston structure is powered by hydraulic oil from the torque converter or other device. The hydraulic oil is discharged from the torque converter through one or more oil paths 47. The clutch-actuated piston structure has a piston 25 movably coupled to a hydraulic chamber structural member 26. The piston 25 and the hydraulic chamber structural member 26 form therebetween a first hydraulic chamber A and a second hydraulic chamber B. The first hydraulic chamber A receives the hydraulic oil from the torque converter or other device. The second hydraulic chamber B is connected to the first hydraulic chamber A via a diaphragm D, which restricts the flow of hydraulic oil from the first hydraulic chamber A to the second hydraulic chamber B. Preferably, the piston 25 is disposed adjacent to the clutch engaging member 23 of the power disconnecting clutch 9 for moving against and away from the clutch engaging member 23. One or more oil paths 61, 81 connect the second hydraulic chamber B to the exhaust port of the torque converter. One or more opening/closing members 64, 84 are disposed in the oil paths 61, 81. One or more opening/closing members 64, 84 are movable between a first position connecting the second hydraulic chamber B to the exhaust port and a second position disconnecting the second hydraulic chamber B from the exhaust port.

    摘要: Automatic transmissions of automobiles and the like often employ planetary gear mechanisms. In conventional planetary gear mechanisms, a carrier is utilized for supporting shafts of a pinion or planetary gear. One of the carriers is provided with fixing apertures that position and prevent rotation of the pinion shafts of the pinion or planetary gears coupled thereto. The carrier with the fixing apertures is manufactured by pressing a sheet metal member into the desired shape such that one radially extending surface has a plurality of first cavities. These first cavities are preferably rectangular. After the sheet material is pressed, a plurality of second apertures or cavities is formed on the opposite radially extending facing surface of the sheet metal. These second cavities are preferably circular. These second cavities overlap with the first cavities such that a passageway is formed between the first and second cavities. The shafts of the pinion or planetary gears have a D-shaped projection with a flat area for engaging a flat area of the first cavities such that rotation between the carrier and the pinion shafts are prevented.
