摘要: A graphic fluorescent display device is disclosed which is capable of effectively eliminating a streak pattern occurring right below cathodes. The fluorescent display device is constructed in such a manner that an electric field controlling electrode is disposed on the surface of a cover plate opposite to a substrate having anodes formed thereon, and potential positive with respect to the cathodes is applied to the electric field controlling electrode so that electrons emitted from the cathodes may be diffused by the positive electric field of the electric field controlling electrode.

摘要: A color filter capable of being uniformly formed without any deformation of a light-permeable anode conductor and prevented from being adversely affected by etching for formation of the anode conductor. A light-permeable anode substrate free of any deformation is uniformly formed thereon with anode conductors, on which color filters are formed of a mixture of a composite oxide pigment and a conductive material so as to cover the anode conductors. The color filters each are formed by arranging a color filter material in a predetermined pattern, followed by calcination. Then, phosphor layers are deposited on the color filters. The phosphor layers are electrically connected through the conductive material of the color filters to the anode conductors. A thickness of the color filters and a particle diameter of the conductive material are determined to be substantially the same, so that the color filters exhibit conductivity only in a direction of thickness. Thus, contact between the color filters adjacent to each other does not cause electrical connection therebetween.

摘要: A display device capable of preventing vibration of control electrodes stretched in an envelope. The control electrodes are divided into two assemblies or a main control electrode assembly and an auxiliary control electrode assembly arranged in contact with or in proximity to the main control electrode assembly so that vibrations of both control electrode assemblies may damp each other due to a difference between natural frequency therebetween, thereby restraining vibration of the control electrodes.

摘要: An organic electroluminescence (EL) device doping material which is thermally stable, having a high melting point, and doping with which improves stability of a luminous layer formed as a thin layer. An organic EL device 1 comprises a glass substrate 3, an anode 2 made of transparent indium tin oxide (ITO), an electron hole implanted transporting layer 4 of TPD, a luminous layer 5, and a cathode 6 made of Mg. The luminous layer is made of Alq3 doped with 1 mol % of Al2O (SABF)2 as a metal chelate complex having ligands composed of SABF skeletons. When plus DC voltage is applied to the anode 2 and minus DC voltage, to the cathode 6, the luminous layer 5 emits yellow electroluminescence of 16400 cd/m2 at maximum with 15 V. The external quantum yield was 0.1891 m/W. The luminous layer of the organic EL device is thermally stable and hard to be deteriorated.

摘要: A fluorescent display device of the front emission type capable of permitting light-permeable anode conductors to be uniformly formed without any deformation and preventing color filters from being affected by etching carried out for forming the anode conductors. A light-permeable anode substrate is provided thereon with strip-like filters, which are then formed thereon with a uniform and flat protective film of light-permeable, insulating and etching-resistant properties. Then, anode conductors are arranged on the protective film. Thus, the anode conductors can be uniformly formed on the flat protective film irrespective of unevenness on a surface of the filters. Also, the protective film prevents the anode conductors from being exposed to etching liquid used for formation of the anode conductors.

摘要: A display device capable of decreasing the number of drivers required for driving electrodes, decreasing the number of filamentary cathodes to reduce power consumption and utilizing electrons with high efficiency. In the display device, filamentary cathodes are arranged in parallel with control electrodes and in a manner to interpose two or more control electrodes between each adjacent two filamentary cathodes. Also, each deflecting control electrode is constituted by adjacent two control electrodes positioned right below each of the filamentary cathodes and scanned while being applied thereto a potential by way of a deflecting circuit. Further, to the control electrodes other than the deflecting control electrodes is constantly applied a potential negative with respect to the filamentary cathodes.
