In a motor having a permanent magnet built in a rotor, a hole for preventing a short-circuit of magnetic flux is disposed so that the hole is adjacent to the outer rim of rotor core, and adjoins to a slit for receiving a permanent magnet as well as the permanent magnet per se. This structure prevents a short-circuit of magnetic flux generated by both ends of the permanent magnet, and the magnetic flux at both ends of the magnet can flow to a stator, thereby contributing to generate torque effectively. As a result, the highly efficient motor with less cogging torque, less vibration and lower noise can be provided.

A motor according to the present invention is a motor using a rotor 5 including two first rotator portions 2, each having a permanent magnet 1, and a second rotator portion 3 having magnetic saliency inserted therebetween, coupled in a direction of a rotating shaft 4, and part of the rotor 5 is replaced with a reluctance motor, whereby an amount of the permanent magnet 1 is reduced, thus making it possible to reduce generated voltage. Further, there are provided the first rotator portion 2 on both sides of the second rotator portion 3, whereby the second rotator portion 3 is magnetically saturated through the effective use of going-round 18 of magnetic flux to raise salient ratio. Thus, reluctance torque caused in the second rotator portion 3 is increased, whereby it is possible to increase torque as a whole and to obtain a high-output motor.

A permanent magnet embedded type concentrated winding motor generator, wherein of the mechanically and electrically independent first and second winding groups (4, 5), the plurality of first teeth (2) wound with the first winding groups (4) are divided into three groups (I, II, III) for example, and the winding directions of the windings of adjacent first teeth (2) within the same group (I, II, III) are opposite. Furthermore, one second tooth (3) wound with a second winding group (5) with a different winding specification from the first winding groups (4) is provided between each of the groups (I, II, III). Accordingly, the relative sizes of the generated voltages in the first winding groups (4) and the second winding groups (5) differ each other, allowing the realization of a compact and low cost construction capable of charging two different electric potentials from a single unit, which also enables a reduction in distortion of the waveform of the counter electromotive force, a reduction in iron loss, and an improvement in the efficiency of the motor, and enables the efficient charging of power sources with two different electric potentials.
