An automatic valve (44) as an open/close valve for shutting off the outer fuel outflow passage (C4) when a rail pressure (Pcr) is equal to or lower than a predetermined value and rendering in communication the outer fuel outflow passage (C4) when the rail pressure (Pcr) is higher than the predetermined value is interposed in the outer fuel outflow passage (C4).

    摘要: A fuel injection valve (2) includes a first injection hole group (14), a second injection hole group (15), a control chamber (20), a first needle valve (12), and a second needle valve (13). The first needle valve (12) opens/closes an injection hole in the first injection hole group (14). The second needle valve (13) opens/closes an injection hole in the second injection hole group (15). Lifting of the first needle valve (12), and lifting of the second needle valve (13) are controlled by a pressure of fuel in the control chamber (20). An automatic valve (32) is further provided to change a flow rate at which the fuel flows into the control chamber (20), or a flow rate at which the fuel flows out from the control chamber (20), based on a common-rail pressure in a fuel supply source (1), when the needle valves (12, 13) are lifted. Thus, the fuel injection valve (2) injects fuel at the optimum fuel injection rate in various engine operating states.

    摘要: The invention provides an apparatus and method for diagnosing breached fuel elements in a nuclear reactor. A detection system measures the activity of isotopes from the cover-gas in the reactor. A data acquisition and processing system monitors the detection system and corrects for the effects of the cover-gas clean up system on the measured activity and further calculates the derivative cure of the corrected activity as a function of time. A plotting system graphs the derivative curve, which represents the instantaneous release rate of fission gas from a breached fuel element.

    摘要: The present invention provides an intake control valve which is able to reduce intake air leakage, control the amount of intake air with high accuracy, and to allow easy installation to an intake manifold. The intake control valve of an intake control device according to the present invention has a valve body, a case, and an actuator. The valve body is rotatably installed in the case, opening and closing an openingclosing passage formed in the case. The case is fitted with the actuator, which functions to rotate the valve body. In the meantime, the intake manifold is provided for a mounting bore formed for insertion of the case. On the outer side of the case are installed sealing members, which contact the wall surface of the mounting bore to prevent air leakage. The intake control valve is installed in the mounting bore formed in the intake manifold after assembling the valve body, the case and the actuator into one unit.
