摘要： A rice cooking system for a microwave oven comprises an inner cooking container for containing rice and rice cooking water, a main outer container holding the inner container with a space in between their side surfaces, a lid covering the outer container, and a foam control sheet having a plurality of small holes 52 and supported between the outer container and the lid. The inner cooking container is made of metal and has a folded or rolled a rim. A step at the bottom of the outer container locates the inner cooking container so that its outer wall is spaced from the outer container.

摘要： A container system for microwave oven cooking comprises a main body, a lid, and a cap disposed in a recess in the lid. The cap is movable upward and downward through a limited range in the recess depending on steam pressure, and grooves, formed in a side wall of the cap, or in a side wall of the recess, allow escape of steam when the cap is moved upward as a result of steam pressure. The lid is also allowed to move upward and downward relative to the main container body in response to steam pressure, and, when the lid is moved upward, an additional path for the escape of stem is provided at the location where the rims of the lid and main body meet each other.

An Opening 26 and a steam-releasing groove 18 of the lid 3 and/or a gap between the fitting section 9 of the container body 1 and the bottom fitting section 13 of the lid 3 provides a path for air and steam generated within the container, controlling steam pressure within the container and preventing water therein from boiling out.
