摘要: A 10-35% Cr ferritic stainless steel stabilized with 0.20-1.00% of Nb wherein Nb%.gtoreq.(8.times.C%+2.0%) with impurities, such as carbon, nitrogen, phosphorous, oxygen and sulfur reduced to given levels is disclosed. By reducing the sulfur content to a level of not greater than 0.002%, preferably less than 0.001% or in cases where copper and/or nickel is added, to a level of not greater than 0.005%, the corrosion resistance of the resulting steel can markedly be improved. Since the ferritic stainless steel of this invention also exhibits a combination of good surface appearance and formability, it can be substituted for certain austenitic stainless steels not only as a general corrosion resistant material, but also as a material for making external automotive trims and so on.

摘要: A ferritic stainless steel containing 12.00-25.00% of Cr, 0.1-2.0% of Cu and 0.2-2.0% of Nb with sulfur being restricted to not greater than 0.02%, preferably not greater than 0.005% is hot rolled with a finishing temperature of 850.degree. C. or less, which is lower than the usual finishing temperature, and the resulting hot rolled steel strip is annealed at a relatively high temperature of 950.degree.-1050.degree. C. The resulting cold rolled steel sheet, though it is less expensive, possesses good formability, ridging resistance, surface appearance and corrosion resistance, and is particularly suitable for making ornamental articles, such as automotive mouldings.

摘要: A host computer writes a page code corresponding to a desired page in page designation areas R1 to R32 in a brief datalink area P in a communication packet so as to receive necessary detailed information from each of producing machines #1 to #32, and sends the communication packet to the producing machines. Each producing machine always supervises the page designation areas R1 to R32 in the communication packet received from the host computer. Further, each producing machine writes the detailed information of a page corresponding to the page code written in the data designation areas R1 to R32 in a detailed datalink area Q as well as writes a page code of the page of the detailed information, written in the detailed datalink area Q, in the page designation areas R1 to R32. Thereby, it is possible to interchanges necessary information between the host computer and each of the plurality of producing machines at high speed.

摘要: In the sealing of a glass container containing a product such as a food product by means of a cover comprising a metal foil having on one surface thereof a sealant layer of a thermoplastic resin, the opening end of the container is preheated, and the cover is placed on the opening end, after which the cover is pressed against the opening end successively by a heating plate and a separate pressing plate. By this process, a positive seal and a high sealing process efficiency are obtained even when the container content is a product such as a heated liquid food product and even when the rim surface of the opening end of the container has some projecting irregularities.
