摘要: An exhaust manifold has dual liner structure constructed of an intermediate liner forming a chamber and a plurality of sleeves extending outwardly from the chamber and of an inner liner within the intermediate liner. The inner liner forms a reaction chamber within the chamber of the intermediate liner and a plurality of tubes extending outwardly from the reaction chamber and mounted within the sleeves, respectively. The tubes have inlet ports for connection to exhaust ports of an internal combustion engine. The reaction chamber is formed with a plurality of apertures opening to the chamber of the intermediate liner to let hot gases to flow into the chamber of the intermediate liner embracing the reaction chamber. The chamber of the intermediate liner is formed with an outlet port for connection to an exhaust pipe.

摘要: An impact elastic wave test is conducted to measure propagating waves in a pipe to be examined, a frequency spectrum of the propagating waves is analyzed, and at least a spectral area value in a first frequency region and a spectral area value in a second frequency region of the frequency spectrum are evaluated, thereby determining a type of a deteriorated state of the buried pipe. A correlation relationship between a parameter obtained from a force-deformation relationship indicating a relationship between a force externally input to a sample pipe and a deformation of the sample pipe due to the force, and impact elastic wave test data obtained by conducting an impact elastic wave test with respect to the sample pipe is previously obtained, an impact elastic wave test is conducted with respect to a pipe to be examined to collect impact elastic wave measurement data of the pipe to be examined, and the actually measured impact elastic wave measurement data is evaluated based on the correlation relationship, thereby quantitatively determining a degree of deterioration of the pipe to be examined.

摘要: The present invention provides a service processing system that process a service for performing predetermined linkage processing on document data among plural devices connected to a network according to predetermined processing contents. A log generating unit of the service processors generates logs of processing results in the respective service processors. Logs stored in the service processors are received by the log receiving unit of a linkage processing server, whether processing results of service linkage are normal or not is determined by comparing the processing results by a log comparison determination unit, and comparison result data as processing result logs is generated in a comparison determination result generating unit. The comparison result data is transmitted to a client terminal making a request to transmit linkage processing results.

摘要: An input sheet system for reading an input sheet on which an instruction from a user is described, acquiring the instruction from the user on the basis of the read result, and performing information processing according to the instruction. When a form creator creates the appearance of a form by arranging symbols of software components registered on a component library on a form image, a form editor automatically creates a form document describing the location relationship of the symbols. When an input sheet with user's instructions filled in is read into the system, the system determines the processing order of the software components corresponding to the symbols on the basis of the location relationship of the symbols described on the form document and carries out the processing in this order.

摘要: A cordless telephone includes at least one child unit and a mother unit. The mother unit transmits and receives a radio signal to and from the child unit. The mother unit includes first and second receiver circuits, a transmitter circuit, and a muting circuit. The first receiver circuit receives an UP-channel signal from the child unit and transmits the received signal to a telephone line. The transmitter circuit receives the signal transmitted via the telephone line from the counter party, and converts the signal received from the counter party into a DOWN-channel signal which will then be transmitted to the child unit. The second receiver circuit receives a broadcasting radio signal. The muting circuit mutes the output signal from the second receiver circuit. The muting circuit mutes the output signal derived from the second receiver circuit when either the UP-channel signal, or the DOWN-channel signal may give spurious interference to the second receiver circuit.

摘要: A liquid-discharge recording apparatus such as an ink-jet printer comprises: a liquid-discharge recording unit having an emission energy generating device including an electrothermal energy converting device which can heat a recording liquid such as an ink to form liquid droplets in response to an electrical signal, in which this recording unit emits the liquid droplets and deposits them on a recording paper and thereby recording thereon; a recording unit control circuit which can set and supplies the electrical signal to form the liquid droplets to the emission energy generating device in response to a recording signal; and an emission controller for setting the electrical signal to form the liquid droplets to the recording unit control circuit when a power supply is turned on, thereby allowing the recording unit to and emit the liquid droplets in accordance with an environmental condition such as a temperature of the recording liquid. With this dedicated emission controller, the proper emission condition is set and preheating processes and preliminary emitting processes are executed prior to starting the printing after the turn-on of the power supply of the printer, so that the printing state can be promptly and easily optimized by a simple software.
