    摘要: A linear reciprocating engine may include a cylinder having first and second combustion chambers at opposing ends, first and second cylinder heads at an end of the first and second combustion chambers, respectively, and a double-faced piston slidably mounted within the cylinder. The engine may further include an exhaust port located in a peripheral cylinder wall and at least one combustion gas inlet in a location other than the peripheral cylinder wall. The combustion gas inlet and the exhaust port may be configured to cooperate such that combustion gases introduced through the inlet are evacuated from the cylinder through the exhaust port. The double-faced piston may have an axial length from one face to an opposite face of the piston less than or equal to ½ of a distance from at least one of the first cylinder head and the second cylinder head to the exhaust port.

    摘要: A chemical heat storage device includes a reactor disposed around an oxidizing catalyst and containing MgCl2 which chemically reacts with NH3 to generate heat, a storage connected to the reactor through a pipe to store NH3, an on-off valve disposed in the pipe, a temperature sensor detecting the temperature of the exhaust gas passing through the oxidizing catalyst, and a controller controlling the on-off valve based on the detected value of the temperature sensor. The controller controls the on-off valve such that the on-off valve unconditionally opens if the temperature of the exhaust gas is greater than a heat generating start temperature TL and is equal to or less than a heat generating end guide temperature TQ, and the on-off valve unconditionally opens if the temperature of the exhaust gas is greater than a regenerating temperature TH.

The dual fuel engine system also includes a turbocharger connected to the dual fuel engine having a turbine portion and a compressor portion. The methane reduction module is configured to receive a flow of exhaust gas from the turbine portion of the turbocharger. The methane reduction module includes a combustor. The methane reduction module is adapted to increase a temperature of the exhaust gas flow received from the turbine portion of the turbocharger. The methane reduction module is also adapted to combust methane constituents present in the exhaust gas based on the increase in the temperature.

    摘要: An exhaust gas treatment device for a diesel engine is capable of smoothly starting the generation of a combustible gas and is provided with a small combustible gas generator. A core material is fitted in the center portion of an annular wall to form an air-fuel mixing chamber between the inner peripheral surface of the annular wall and the outer peripheral surface of the core material. An air-fuel mixture gas in the air-fuel mixing chamber is adapted to be supplied from the end of the air-fuel mixing chamber to a combustible gas generating catalyst to a portion near the center thereof. A heater is used as the core material, the heat dissipating outer peripheral surface of the heater is exposed to the air-fuel mixing chamber. Heat is dissipated directly from the heat dissipating outer peripheral surface of the heater to the air-fuel mixing chamber when starting the generation of the combustible gas.
