    摘要： A method for manufacturing small magnetic disks from a nonmagnetic large disk. A nonmagnetic large disk is first prepared, and subjected to at least one step of a manufacturing process necessary for manufacturing a magnetic disk from a nonmagnetic substrate. The manufacturing process may comprise the steps of applying at least one underlayer to the substrate, applying the layer of magnetic material to the underlayer, applying the protective layer to the layer of magnetic material, applying the lubricating layer to the protective layer, carrying out a texture treatment, polishing the underlayer, and burnishing the protective layer, and carrying out a levitation and characteristic test. After at least one of these steps, the large disk is divided into a plurality of the small disks. Accordingly, it is possible to manufacture small magnetic disks, by the use of manufacturing equipment designed to manufacture large magnetic disks.

    摘要： In a radio communication system that simultaneously uses plural radio channels (STA1), a radio communication apparatus (11-15; 20-25) can quickly secure plural radio channels simultaneously used for radio communication while preventing collision with a radio signal transmitted by another radio communication apparatus so away from the radio communication apparatus that the radio communication apparatus cannot detect radio waves. A radio communication apparatus STA1 according to the present invention includes a receiving unit 10 which receives, when a first signal is transmitted via each of the plural radio channels (21-25), the first signal though at least one or more radio channels among the plural radio channels (11-15), and performs carrier sense for each of the plural radio channels used for the transmission of the first signal, a selecting unit 40 which selects a radio channel used for radio communication out of radio channels set in a standby state, and transmitting unit 20 which transmits a response signal for the first signal via the selected radio channel.

    摘要： A wireless communication apparatus is disclosed. A transmitting device transmits a first aggregation frame in which first transmission data frames are aggregated. A measuring device measures a number value of retransmission of each of the first transmission data frames. A storage stores a limiting value of the number value of retransmission. A determination device determines whether the number value of retransmission of each of the first transmission data frames exceeds the limiting value. A transmission buffer buffers the first transmission data frames for which it is determined that the number value of retransmission does not exceed the limiting value, and discards the first transmission data frames for which it is determined that the number value of retransmission exceeds the limiting value, of the first transmission data frames. A retransmitting device retransmits the first aggregation frame in which the first transmission data frames buffered in the transmission buffer are aggregated.

    摘要： A wireless communication apparatus for performing wireless communication using a first channel having a first frequency bandwidth, and a second channel formed of both the first channel and a second communication channel, the second communication channel having a frequency bandwidth equal to the first frequency bandwidth. A first generation of a first declaration frame for declaring occupation of the first channel for a specified period, and a second generation of a second declaration frame for declaring occupation of the second communication channel for a specified period after the first declaration frame are generated and transmitted. Transmission timings are set so that the first and second declaration frames are transmitted at the highest priority of all the other frames.
