摘要： An electronic device, a control method thereof and a security program are provided which are capable of preventing or suppressing the theft of the electronic device.The electronic device comprises mounting means for loading a portable recording medium and encrypted information write means for encrypting predetermined information using an encryption key unique to the electronic device and writing the encrypted information in the recording medium. The electronic device further comprises encrypted information read means for reading the encrypted information recorded in the recording medium in the case where the recording medium is loaded in the mounting means, decryption execution means for executing the decryption of the encrypted information using the encryption key, and control means for setting the electronic device in usable mode in the case where the encrypted information is decrypted by the decryption execution means.

摘要： There are provided a musical composition reproducing apparatus and a musical composition reproducing method by which musical composition data can be reproduced without boring a user.The musical composition reproducing apparatus acquires a musical composition feature value indicating respective feature of a plurality of musical composition data recorded on a recording means, judges according to the musical composition feature value of musical composition thus acquired whether or not each musical composition data has a predetermined musical mood, and registers the musical compositions judged to have the musical mood in a reproduction list corresponding to the musical mood while arranging the musical composition data in a predetermined reproducing order. The musical composition reproducing apparatus receives selection of a reproduction mode provided to change the predetermined reproduction order, rearranges all or part of the musical composition data registered on the reproduction list in a reproduction order in conformity with the reproduction mode, and reconstructs the reproduction list, thereby reproducing the musical composition data in the reproduction order thus rearranged.

摘要： Data is stored in a non-volatile memory such as a flash memory. The non-volatile memory has two memory areas. When power of a device is turned on, data in the two memory areas are compared to determine which memory area includes old data, and the old data is erased. When the power is turned off, a control setting of the device used immediately before the power is turned off is stored as new data in the memory area from which the old data is erased. When the power is applied again, the new data is read, and the control setting is restored in the device.

摘要： An information reproducing/recording system has a reproducing apparatus which reproduces program information from a first recording medium, a recording/reproducing apparatus which records program information on a second recording medium or reproduces program information from the second recording medium, and a control apparatus which controls the reproducing apparatus and the recording/reproducing apparatus. The control apparatus acquires first management information for program information recorded on the first recording medium, and acquires second management information for program information recorded on the second recording medium. And then, the control apparatus compares the first management information and the second management information, and judges based on the result of comparison whether program information corresponding to the first management information has been recorded on the second recording medium. And if the program information corresponding to the first management information has been recorded on the second recording medium, the control apparatus judges whether a predetermined recording condition is satisfied, and if the recording condition is satisfied, controls the reproducing apparatus and the recording/reproducing apparatus so as to record the program information recorded on the first recording medium onto the second recording medium.
