摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for transmitting control information in a base station for a wireless communication system. The method includes transmitting, to a terminal, information associated with a number of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols carrying control channels; determining a set of control channel candidates based on an IDentifier (ID) of the terminal; selecting at least one control channel candidate from among the set of control channel candidates; and transmitting the control information to the terminal through the selected at least one control channel candidate. Each control channel candidate included in the set of control channel candidates consists of one, two, four, or eight control channel elements (CCEs) existing in the OFDM symbols.

摘要： A method and apparatus using Virtual Circuit Switching (VCS) in a new scheme are provided for allocating and employing resources by combining Circuit Switching (CS) and Packet Switching (PS), in which a base station allocates resources of a dedicated channel using the CS to a user and then transmits data on the dedicated channel. When data is not transmitted to the user, the base station allocates the allocated dedicated channel resources for resources of a shared channel and transmits data of a different user. Therefore, system capacity can be increased and a waste of communication resources can be minimized in a wireless communication system for frequently transmitting a small amount of traffic that is sensitive to a delay time.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting a control channel of a base station in a mobile communication system. A downlink control channel signal generator generates a downlink control channel signal to be transmitted to a User Equipment (UE). A control channel candidate processor calculates a control channel decoding attempt order according to a state of the downlink channel. A controller determines a control channel candidate to be used, according to the calculated decoding attempt order. A mapper maps the generated control channel signal to the determined control channel candidate. A transmission processor wirelessly transmits the mapped signal.

摘要： A scheduling method and apparatus are provided for soft handover in a user equipment (UE) in in a mobile communication system supporting an enhanced uplink packet data service. A receiver receives dedicated scheduling assignment information for dedicated scheduling assignment from a serving Node B, and receives at least one scheduling grant indicator for common scheduling assignment from at least one non-serving Node B. A first scheduling decider determines a combined scheduling grant indicator by combining at least one scheduling grant indicator received from the at least one non-serving Node B. A second scheduling decider determines whether to use the combined scheduling grant indicator according to a predetermined reference, and a maximum rate of an uplink according to the dedicated scheduling assignment information or the combined scheduling grant indicator. A transport format decider determines a transport format of an uplink within the maximum rate.

摘要： An apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving data in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) system using a plurality of resource blocks are provided, in which a transmitter generates a sub-packet to perform a Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) function on the data, performs interleaving on the generated sub-packet for each resource block for a receiver according to predetermined order, and transmits a control message including the sub-packet for each resource block and allocation information of the sub-packet to mobile stations. A mobile station deinterleaves the sub-packet received from the base station for each resource block, and combines the deinterleaved sub-packet based on the control message.

摘要： A method and apparatus for efficiently controlling uplink traffic rates, performing scheduling accompanied by fast rate ramping, and transmitting uplink rate assignment information in an asynchronous WCDMA communication system. A Node B determines an allowed current rate for an uplink channel. If the difference between the current rate and the previous rate is two or more levels, the Node B transmits a rate indication indicating the current rate. If the difference between the current rate and the previous rate is zero or one level, the Node B transmits a rate up/down indicating a rate change from the previous rate to the current rate. Also the Node B may transmit the rate indication instead of the rate up/down, periodically or in an event-triggered manner.

摘要： A method and apparatus for efficient open loop power control in a packet data mobile communication system using Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) is provided. The method includes receiving pilot signals from a scheduling cell that schedules a mobile station and neighboring cells located adjacent to the mobile station; calculating a number of neighboring cells having pathlosses that are less than a threshold; calculating a target Signal-to-Interference Ratio (SIR) of the mobile station using the number of neighboring cells having pathlosses that are less than the threshold; measuring a pathloss of the scheduling cell and calculating uplink transmission power using the measured pathloss of the scheduling cell and the calculated target SIR; and transmitting data with the calculated transmission power.
