摘要： A clothes washing machine has a pulsator and a spurting apparatus for spurting washing water upwardly from the center of the pulsator, so as to disperse laundry gathered thereabove. The spurting apparatus has at least one guide duct and a spurt cap. The guide duct is fixed to an underside of the pulsator so as to rotate together with the pulsator. The washing water is introduced into a radially outer end of the guide duct and guided toward the center of the pulsator. The spurt cap disposed at the center of the pulsator guides the washing water upwardly.

Each guide duct has an upper case, a lower case, and a first assembling mechanism for easily assembling and detaching the upper case and the lower case to and from each other. There is also a second assembling mechanism for assembling the guide duct to the underside of the pulsator so that the guide duct can rotate together with the pulsator.

摘要： Organic white-light-emitting blend materials were prepared by light-doping method and electroluminescent devices fabricated using the same, including a transparent substance, translucent electrode, white-light-emitting layer and metal electrode in order, can efficiently control Förster energy transfer in organic light-emitting materials by performing light doping, thus to fabricate a white electroluminescent device using the blend materials which can emit white-light with high efficiency. The white-light-emitting blend materials can be obtained by the light-doping method, in which the energy transfer occurs only between a host which is a donor and each dopant which is an acceptor, while the energy transfers between dopants are efficiently blocked.

摘要： An image display device using a one-dimensional hologram is disclosed. The image display device includes a light deflection unit which deflects a parallel light ray and adjusts the incident angle of a reconstructing light in sequence, and a one-dimensional hologram optical modulator which reproduces the entire picture by updating each lineal picture in sequence. A one-dimensional hologram is capable of expressing one lineal picture at one time with single axes data. The one-dimensional hologram is updated in synchronization with the incident reproducing light. The input data for a one-dimensional hologram may be computed by an optical calculation method.

According to the present invention, it is provided that font data of at least some of multi-languages to be used in multilingual subtitle processing are recorded on certain area(s) of a DVD, the recorded font data are stored in a font memory at initial stage of playback, the stored font data corresponding to a language selected by selection input of a user are then read, characters for subtitle processing of the selected language are displayed. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of DVD players can be reduced due to the reduction of memory capacity requied and DVDs can be maximum efficiently utilized. A character display method including receiving into a character displaying device a first font data, the first font data for displaying character data, storing, in a first memory area, the received first font data; storing, in a second memory area, a second font data that is different than the first font data stored in the first memory area; and displaying the character data to have a font defined by at least one of the first font data stored in the first memory area and the second font data stored in the second memory area.
