    摘要: A three-axis magnetic field sensing device, a magnetometer, and methods of fabricating and testing are presented. The magnetometer comprises a plurality of sloped surfaces. A plurality of magnetic sensing units is disposed on the slopes. A magnetic field can be measured by the sensing units. Each of the three orthogonal-axis components of the magnetic field, a Euclidean vector, can then be solved by using a simple algorithm as an expression of the sensing unit measurement values and slope angles. Polarization, testing and characterization of the device could be done by applying a magnetic field along a common axis to all sensing units, along which each sensing unit has sensitivity.

    摘要: A highly efficient radiant burner assembly (100) for use in a patio heater or the like in areas where people prefer or require low NOX emissions. The efficiencies are created through the use of a spherical burner element (116) that is either formed of a high temperature steel wire mesh or stamping containing apertures of a predetermined size to allow combustion to remain within the burner element and to not cause the temperature of the burner element to exceed the temperature at which NOX are developed. Coating the burner with a catalyst also aids the low emission combustion process. Additional efficiencies are provided by atomizing the fuel before it is mixed with air and by the use of a laminar flow heat exchanger (940) that utilizes a fluid media flowing in a helical coil condenser unit.

    摘要: A method and system are provided for remotely monitoring the open and close status of a garage door via the internet based on the internet of things concept and NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. The system includes a Door Monitoring & Controlling Device (DMCD) and a web based Advanced Door Management System. The DMCD contains a NFC module, and one or more NFC close/open status tags which work together to monitor the status of the garage door. The NFC tag in this system not only provides status signal but also provides network configure data that eliminates the need to make standalone device configurable for network connectability. The use of NFC technology here will reduce manufacturing cost significantly, and make the configuration easy. The method and system also enable users to remotely open and close the garage door via the internet.
