The air cleaner box includes a casing having a case body and the openable and closable case cover. The air cleaner element and the element holder to support the air cleaner element are contained in the casing. The element holder has an extended U-shape in cross section, and has end sections that are supported by the case body and the case cover respectively. The element holder pivots on the bottom face rear ends of the holder lower protrusions in an inclinable manner.

摘要: A saddle-ride type vehicle eliminates the input of disturbances to a throttle body upon opening/closing of a vehicle seat, and is capable of reliably protecting an injector. An air cleaner 18 is disposed on the rear side of an engine 5, a fuel tank 22 is disposed above the engine 5, and a seat 23 is disposed on the rear side of the fuel tank 22 such that the seat 23 can be opened or closed. A throttle body 17 having an injector 17a is disposed in a space below the seat 23 and between the engine 5 and the air cleaner 18. A protector cover 80 covers the throttle body 17 from the upper side.

摘要: A saddle-ride type vehicle provided with an air cleaner at the rear side of an engine and a fuel tank at the upper side of the engine, and a heat shield panel disposed between the fuel tank and the engine. A fuel feed pipe, one end of which is connected to a fuel pump located at the front side of the engine, extends toward the upper part of the heat shield panel and is routed on the upper side of the heat shield panel and connected to an injector which forms a fuel intake. This improves the degree of freedom in the design around an engine and facilitates the layout of a fuel feed pipe that connects a fuel pump to a fuel intake at the front and rear of the engine so that the fuel feed pipe is hardly affected by the heat of the engine.

The lean detector also detects when the leaning of the vehicle body has reached a prescribed angle in the right, left, front or rear direction. The cooling system is provided in an electric vehicle with a longitudinal, hollow main frame provided with a plurality of branching ducts branching from the main frame to distribute cooling air to the battery units, a plurality of battery units arranged along the main frame, and a cooling fan connected to one end of the main frame. The flow passage area of the branch duct at a distal position with respect to an air flow inlet of the cooling air is smaller than those of the other branch ducts.

摘要: An engine stopping/starting control unit having improved accelerating performance. A charging limiting device is provided which limits the charge provided to a generator when the vehicle is stopped. The decreased charging allows for better performance when the vehicle accelerates from a stopped states. Also, the vehicle headlight can be dimmed while the vehicle is stopped, which reduces the load on the generator. An acceleration detector detects when the vehicle accelerates during running, and can decrease the generator load in response to the acceleration.
