摘要: In order to reduce the amount of refrigerant circulating within a variable displacement compressor to thereby improve compression efficiency, a control valve is configured to comprise a ball valve for controlling the flow rate of refrigerant flowing from a discharge chamber to a crankcase, a spool valve for controlling the flow rate of refrigerant flowing from the crankcase to a suction chamber, a diaphragm for sensing suction pressure, and a solenoid for setting the suction pressure, wherein the spool valve starts flow rate control after the ball valve is fully closed or nearly fully closed, and the ball valve starts flow rate control after the valve lift of the spool valve is minimized or nearly minimized. As a result, a region is almost eliminated in which the ball valve and the spool valve are both open simultaneously during switching of flow rate control between the ball valve and the spool valve, which makes it possible to minimize the flow rate of the refrigerant circulating within the compressor without contributing to a refrigerating operation, to thereby improve the efficiency of the compressor.

摘要: A scroll-type compressor, while adopting an Oldham mechanism as a rotation prevention mechanism, lubricates an Oldham ring by retaining a medium mixed with oil on a back surface of an orbiting scroll and maintains a compression mechanism in a compact shape. The Oldham ring is provided between the orbiting scroll and a block which supports a drive shaft. An annular thrust race which receives a load in the axial direction from the orbiting scroll is sandwiched between a fixed scroll and the block. An end surface of the circumference of the orbiting scroll is brought into contact with the race, and the race is brought into contact with an end surface of the block to an area outside a pair of key groove portions formed on the block in the radial direction. A retention space, defined by the orbiting scroll, the race, and the block, retains the medium.

摘要: There is provided a handrail for passenger conveyor in which it is possible to give a prescribed strength to a junction of a canvas and it is possible to prevent vibrations and noises which might be generated when a driving roller passes by the junction of the canvas. For this purpose, a canvas is provided along an inner surface of an annular core body having a C-shaped cross section, which is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer material, and a surface of each of adjacent end portions of the canvas in a junction is formed to be indented toward the core body side compared to surfaces of other portions which form an inner surface of a handrail. An application cloth is provided between the end portions of the canvas so as to cover a gap formed between the end portions of the canvas. A surface of a portion of the application cloth corresponding to a flat portion of the core body is arranged to be flush with an adjacent surface of the canvas, whereas a surface of a portion corresponding to a curved portion of the core body is arranged to be indented with respect to the adjacent surface of the canvas.

摘要: A sub-processor different from the main processor executing control in the operating system (OS) is designated to control a device driver corresponding to a communication unit and thus, the communication control is executed by the sub-processor in response to an interrupt originating from a network card functioning as the communication unit in an information processing apparatus equipped with a plurality of processors and engaged in communication via a network. The structure enables the main processor to execute data processing with a high level of efficiency without a time lag in the data processing.

摘要: An image-printing system for printing a fine image represented by digital image data, which is being displayed by a television receiver. The system comprises an image-processing section 13, an image output section 13, a printer apparatus 5, and a printing control section 23. The image-processing section 13 processes an externally input image signal, generating image data. The image output section 13 outputs a packet to the printer apparatus 5. The packet complies with the IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) 1394 standards and contains the image data generated by the image-processing section 13. The printing control section 23 controls the printer apparatus 5 so that the apparatus 5 may print the data represented by the image data contained in the packet that the image output section 13 has output to the printer apparatus 5.

摘要: A moving handrail superior in durability includes a linear belt of which two end portions are connected, forming a loop. This linear belt includes a single-layer or multilayer of thermoplastic elastomer having a C-shape in cross section; metallic and web-shaped metal stretch inhibitors disposed along a longitudinal direction of the thermoplastic elastomer, and base members coupled inside of the thermoplastic elastomer. The thermoplastic elastomer, metal stretch inhibitor, and base member are integrally molded. In the connection portion, a splice junction between the metal stretch inhibitors and a joint where the base members are connected together at both end portions with an auxiliary backing does not overlap in a direction of thickness of the moving handrail. Further, the metal stretch inhibitors that are spliced are enclosed with a thermoplastic elastomer.

摘要: A rotary actuator has a first rotor rotatable around a first axis and having a plurality of first projections circumferentially spaced and axially projecting from one end surface thereof, a second rotor rotatable around a second axis which is eccentric to the first axis and having at least a second projection circumferentially spaced and axially projecting from one end surface thereof, a rotating mechanism connected to the second rotor to rotate the second rotor, the first and second rotors being arranged such that their end surfaces face each other so that the second projection may engage with either one of the first projections to rotate the first rotor through a predetermined angle when the second rotor is rotated. The rotary actuator further has a detent stop for preventing the first rotor from rotating and holding the first rotor stationary in position while the second projection is engaged with neither one of the first projections and for releasing and allowing the first rotor to rotate while the second projection is engaged with either one of the first projections.
