摘要: The gyro sensor uses a clock signal as a timing signal or synchronous signal for reading various data stored in a built-in memory for its yaw rate sensing operation. The gyro sensor is configured to use, as such a clock signal, the self-excited oscillation signal being applied to the vibrator of the gyro sensor as a vibrator drive signal.

摘要: An angular rate sensor has a vibrator vibrating along a reference direction at a fixed frequency in response to a driving signal, and vibrating along a detecting direction perpendicular to the reference direction in accordance with an angular velocity given to the vibrator. A monitoring signal generator generates a monitoring signal having a waveform of the vibrator vibration along the reference direction. A clock signal generator generates, from the monitoring signal, a first clock signal and a second clock signal having a frequency identical with that of the first clock signal and a level change occurring at a time differing from that in the second clock signal. The first clock signal is used to maintain the vibrator vibration along the reference direction. An angular velocity detector detects the angular velocity from a waveform of the vibrator vibration along the detecting direction by using the second clock signal.

摘要: In an anomaly detector that detects an abnormal condition of an oscillation signal of a circuit such as a vibratory sensing circuit, the oscillation signal, having AC and DC components, is converted to a pair of first and second signals of either opposite-polarity DC amplitudes or opposite-phase alternating amplitudes. The first and second signals are combined to cancel the AC component of the oscillation signal to detect the DC component. The DC component is then compared with the upper and lower thresholds of a decision range to produce an alarm if the DC component goes outside the decision range. In one embodiment, the first and second signals are produced by detecting positive and negative peak values of the oscillation signal at intervals. In a second embodiment, the first signal is produced by high-pass filtering the oscillation signal as a replica of the AC component and the second signal is the oscillation signal itself.

摘要: The continuous process for removing mercury comprises a step of continuously feeding a mercury-containing liquid hydrocarbon to an ionization zone where the elementary mercury is ionized; and a step of continuously feeding the liquid hydrocarbon containing the ionized mercury to a sulfur compound-treatment zone where the ionized mercury is converted to a solid mercury compound. The semi-continuous process for removing mercury comprises a step of continuously feeding a mercury-containing liquid hydrocarbon to an ionization column where the elementary mercury is ionized; and a step of feeding the liquid hydrocarbon containing the ionized mercury to a sulfur compound-treatment tank where the ionized mercury is converted to a solid mercury compound in batch manner. With the above processes, the mercury is removed from the liquid hydrocarbon with ease in a continuous or semi-continuous manner at around ordinary temperature under around ordinary pressure.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus includes a heating heat exchanger for heating air blown toward a passenger compartment using hot water as a heating source. A plurality of electric heating members are formed integrally with the heating heat exchanger, and electric power supplied to the electric heating members is controlled according a temperature of the hot water. Therefore, a number of the electric heating members to be operated is finely controlled according to the temperature of water flowing through the heating heat exchanger. Further, when a water temperature of the heating heat exchanger is lower than a predetermined temperature (e.g., 35.degree. C.), a water valve is closed to interrupt the flow of water to the heating heat exchanger, and a blower is operated. Therefore, a quantity of heat transmitted from the electric heating members to the water in the heating heat exchanger can be greatly decreased.
