Therefore, the wavelength conversion efficiency improves and the peak power of optical amplifiers 1611 and 1612 can be suppressed, which allows the wavelength of lights that are output from optical amplifiers 1611 and 1612 to be further narrowed.

    摘要: A light source device has: a light source unit including solid-state light sources emitting blue-color light and a condensing lens; a dichroic mirror polarization separating color light into first and second polarization components; a fluorescence emission plate excited with the first polarization component, emitting fluorescence of green and red components to enter the dichroic mirror; a first retardation plate converting the second polarization component to a circularly polarized light; and a reflection plate reflecting a light passed through the first retardation plate to reenter the same. The color lights from the fluorescence emission plate and the first retardation plate are combined at the dichroic mirror. A second retardation plate converts the polarization direction of the light from the light source unit, so as to control the ratio of p-polarization and s-polarization components. Lights from solid-state light sources are condensed efficiently and a high spectrum-utilization factor is obtained.

Between an exit surface of each right-angle prism and an incident surface of the composite rod integrator, a predetermined air gap is provided. The focal point of each converging lens is located on an incident surface of each right-angle prism.

    摘要: The ultraviolet short-pulse laser light emitted from the ultraviolet short-pulse laser light source 1 is focused on and caused to irradiate a macromolecular crystal 8 contained in a sample container 6 via a shutter 2, intensity adjusting element 3, irradiation position control mechanism 4, and focusing optical system 5. The sample container 6 is carried on a stage 7, and can be moved in three dimensions along the directions of the x, y and z axes in an x-y-z orthogonal coordinate system with the direction of the optical axis being taken as the z axis; furthermore, the sample container 6 can be rotated about the z axis. Working of the macromolecular crystal is performed by means of ultraviolet short-pulse laser light that is focused on and caused to irradiate the surface of the macromolecular crystal 8. In this way, various types of working can be securely performed on macromolecular crystals with little damage and by means of a simple operation.

Fluorescent material layer is formed on each side of a glass substrate of a fluorescent plate so as to interpose a reflective film therebetween. The first optical system optically guides, to a rod integrator, red and blue LED light, and green fluorescence that is generated by excitation occurring when blue laser light emitted from the solid-state light source unit is applied to the fluorescent material layer on one surface of the fluorescent plate, and that is emitted in the −X direction. The second optical system optically guides, to the rod integrator, red and blue LED light, and green fluorescence that is generated by excitation occurring when blue laser light emitted from the solid-state light source unit is applied to the fluorescent material layer on the other surface of the fluorescent plate, and that is emitted in the +X direction.
