摘要: A method and apparatus for making axial-flow filters wherein a sectorial-shaped sheet of filter material having corrugations therein parallel to the curved ends thereof is made from a flat sheet of filter material, and thereafter the corrugated sheet is made into an annulus to obtain the final product. Initially, an edge portion of a flat sheet of filter material is attached to a sectorial-shaped mold, having a mold surface defined by curved ridges and valleys parallel to the curved ends of the mold, so that the sheet is slanted up away from the mold surface from the smaller curved end of the mold. Thereafter a set of curved forming blades is moved down toward the mold to engage the sheet and to fold it successively and consecutively across the ridges of the mold and beneath the edges of the blades into the valleys of the mold to corrugate the sheet. The corrugated sheet thus produced is made into an annulus by using a contouring belt which embraces the larger convexly curved ends of the sheet and constricts the sheet into an annulus. Thereafter the annular filter is reshaped by positioning a set of curved blades, corresponding to the valleys in one side of the filters, against the bottoms of these valleys and rotating the blades about the filter axis.

摘要: A wire harness lead-out structure includes a body that includes a containing portion for receiving a wire harness and a corrugated tube covering the wire harness, a lid that is attached to the body to close an upper opening of the body, two completely-fixing ribs that are formed on the body and the lid respectively to be engaged in grooves of the corrugated tube to prevent a movement of the corrugated tube in an axial direction of the corrugated tube, and a provisionally-fixing rib that is formed in a single line on the opposed side walls of the body to be engaged in a single groove of the corrugated tube, and is disposed between the two completely-fixing ribs. The wire harness lead-out structure length required for provisionally fixing a corrugated tube can be reduced and a compact design can be achieved.

摘要: The present invention aims at detecting torque with a high degree of precision, by suppressing influences such as disturbance and rotation dependency. An output side cylinder is provided with a reference slit, and an input side cylinder is provided with a first detection slit and a second detection slit, which overlap the reference slit, the overlap amount between the first detection slit and the reference slit changing inversely with the overlap amount between the second detection slit and the reference slit, magnetic flux is applied from the inner side of the input side cylinder by a first drive coil and a second drive coil, a measuring circuit detects a phase difference between a phase of a detection signal for detecting the magnetic flux by a first detection coil provided on a position facing to the first detection slit on the outer side of the output side cylinder, and a phase of a detection signal for detecting the magnetic flux by a second detection coil provided on a position facing to the second detection slit on the outer side of the output side cylinder, and based on the phase difference, a torsion amount of the torsion bar is calculated. The directions of the magnetic flux generated by the first drive coil and second drive coil are opposite to each other.

摘要: There is disclosed a hot melt type ink for an ink jet which has a small rate of a volume change accompanied with a phase change from a melt status to a solid matter and does not cause an offset and which provides a clear color image on an OHP sheet. The above ink composition has a volume change rate falling in a range of less than 10%, preferably 8 to 4% and a phase change temperature range of 60.degree. C. to the jetting temperature.

摘要: Disclosed are recording method and apparatus for inputting recording information in page units, developing the recording information into bit-map information and recording the bit-map information. The bit-map information is corrected, before it is compressed by a compressing circuit, in dependence upon the compression ratio of the compressing circuit, the corrected bit-map information is then compressed by the compressing circuit and stored in a pixel memory. Recording is performed upon expanding the bit-map information stored in the pixel memory. As a result, the blurring of characters and fine lines by compression can be prevented. Further, it is determined whether the recording information is text data or image data. By compressing the text data at a compression ratio smaller than that used to compress the image data, a decline in the image quality of the text data recorded is prevented.
