摘要： A base station transmits a radio-frequency signal to a mobile station. The radio-frequency signal includes a frequency calibration signal. The mobile station includes a receiver receiving the radio-frequency signal. The receiver includes a referance oscillator generating a reference signal whose frequency is controlled in accordance with the frequency calibration signal. The receiver includes mixers and local oscillators. The mixers mix the radio-frequency signal with local oscillator signals from the local oscillator signals and convert the radio-frequency signal into a corresponding intermediate-frequency signal. The local oscillator signals are synchronized with the reference signal. The frequency of the intermediate-frequency signal is divided to derive a frequency-divided signal. The frequency of the reference signal is controlled in accordance with the frequency-divided signal.

摘要： A hemispherical dielectric resonator is arranged on a conductive substrate with a flat surface of the resonator in contact with the conductive substrate and fixed by a pair of fixing blocks. The dielectric resonator is fed with a signal feeder at a position at one side of the resonator such that intensity of the electric field is higher at that position. The fixing blocks contact a portion of the dielectric resonator where the intensity of the electric field is of a local minimum.

摘要： A first oscillator includes: a ring resonator; an oscillation circuit having a negative resistance active circuit coupled to a first point on the ring resonator for oscillating at an oscillation frequency and resonating the resonator; an output terminal, coupled to a second point on the ring resonator where a voltage is substantially zero with respect to the predetermined frequency when the ring resonator resonates, for outputting a resonant frequency signal, wherein even order harmonic components are outputted with the fundamental component suppressed. A second oscillator includes a ring resonator having points A to D equidistantly dividing the ring resonator, first and second oscillation circuits coupled to the points A and B respectively, first and second grounding capacitors having capacitance equivalent to those of the first and second oscillation circuits. Thus, two independent oscillators which do not affect each other are provided with a single resonator. In the first and second oscillators, grounding capacitors, a resonant capacitor may be provided to miniaturize the oscillator. Variable capacitances may be provided to prevent the point from moving with a change in the controlled oscillation frequency. Frequency synthesizers and communication apparatus including the first or second oscillator are also disclosed.

摘要： A strip dual mode loop resonator includes loop-shaped strip line having a pair of straight strip lines arranged in parallel, an electric length of the loop-shaped strip line being equivalent to a wavelength of a microwave circulated in the loop-shaped strip line in two different directions according to a characteristic impedance of the loop-shaped strip line, and the straight strip lines being coupled to each other in electromagnetic coupling to change the characteristic impedance of the loop-shaped strip line. The microwave is transferred from an input strip line to the loop-shaped strip line through electromagnetic field induced by the microwave. Thereafter, the microwave is reflected in the straight strip lines of the loop-shaped strip line to produce reflected microwaves circulated in opposite directions. Thereafter, the reflected waves are resonated and filtered in dual mode in the loop-shaped strip line. Thereafter, the microwave formed of the reflected waves is transferred from the loop-shaped strip line to an output strip line through electromagnetic field induced by the microwave.

摘要： An FSK radio receiver of direct conversion type, which derives baseband in-phase and phase quadrature signals from a received FSK RF signal in respective mixers by applying local oscillator signals to the mixers differing in phase by 90.degree., in which wide-band baseband 90.degree. phase shifting circuits formed of only digital logic elements phase shift the in-phase and phase quadrature signals to enable a demodulated digital data signal to be obtained by subsequent digital processing. In that processing, signals having a frequency that is double that of the in-phase and phase quadrature signals are derived and used to derive the demodulated data signal, ensuring high accuracy of detection and lowering the accuracy required for the local oscillator frequency.

The analog frequency divider circuit comprises an LC series circuit having a capacitor and an inductor connected between the anode and the cathode of a diode, and means for applying a forward bias to the diode. The input signal is supplied from the anode side of the diode, and the output is delivered from the cathode side, or the anode side if the cathode is grounded.

摘要： A band-stop filter for VHF-UHF band comprises at least three series resonance circuits and at least two transmission lines each connected between the series resonance circuits. One of the transmission lines, which is connected to the input terminal of the band-stop filter, has an electrical length which is shorter or longer than the quarter wavelength of the center frequency of the stop band by more than 20 but less than 50 percent. When a band-stop filter comprises four transmission lines, one of the transmission lines, which is connected to the output terminal of the band-stop filter, has the same length as the transmission line connected to the input terminal. With this arrangement, the band-stop filter exhibits a sharp attenuation characteristic in a frequency range below or above the center frequency. Other transmission lines, which are not directly connected to either the input terminal or the output terminal, may have a length which is shorter or longer than the quarter wavelength by 5 to 20 percent so as to provide a sharper attenuation characteristic.

The third transmission line has the second line impedance and the second line length, with one end being connected to the other end of the first transmission line and the other end being short-circuited to ground. The first line impedance is lowered in comparison with the second line impedance.
