The present invention provides a cost-effective and power-effective solution to a high performance amplifier design over conventional Class A and Class B/AB amplifiers. Without increasing cost or losing simplification of conventional Class B/AB amplifier configuration, two kinds of unique local feedback loops, which cover the second and third stages and further offer a feedback shifting feature over frequency range, are disclosed to replace the traditional Miller compensation capacitor to suppress dominant distortion, which is usually generated by the two last stages while maintaining stability of the amplifier, through high frequency end. Since the present invention provides key elements of a three-stage amplifier that enable performance improvement in a wide range of circuit design, the present invention has significant commercial values in amplifier circuit industries including audio power amplifiers, IC (integrated circuit) operational amplifiers, ADC (Analog-to-Digital Conversion) and DAC (Digital-to-Analog Conversion) buffers, etc.

An integrated calibration system and process for a three-axis (X, Y, Z) accelerometer estimates Z-axis bias, Z-axis bias drift and determines X, Y, and Z-axes error sources based on measurements taken when the accelerometer is static, i.e., sensing only the earth's gravitational acceleration. An integrated Global Positioning System (GPS)/Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) method and MicroSystem is disclosed, wherein data from an IMU, a MEMS IMU preferred, a GPS chipset, and an earth magnetic field detector are mixed in a mixed GPS/IMU/Magnetic Data microprocessor to achieve a low cost, micro size, and low power consumption mixed GPS/IMU/magnetic position, velocity, and attitude solution. Furthermore, to deal with sensitivity of the MEMS inertial sensors to environment temperature, a temperature based scheduler, error estimator, and a current acting error estimator are co-operated to minimize the mismatching between the filter system modules and the actual ones due to change of environment temperature, so that the system of the present invention can provide high performance and stable navigation solution over a wide range of environment temperature.

The system includes a magnetic-field sensing device to measure in the body coordinate frame of reference an intensity and/or direction of a magnetic field in three substantially orthogonal directions; an acceleration-sensing device adapted to measure total acceleration of the object in the body coordinate frame of reference; and a processor adapted to calculate attitude and angular rate by combining total acceleration measurement data and magnetic field measurement data with the kinematic model in a filter.
