摘要: A tibial anchoring assembly comprising a tibial tray and an anchor. The tibial tray comprises an upper surface for engagement with a femoral component and a lower surface for engagement with a tibia bone. The lower surface defines at least one retaining aperture. The anchor is adapted to compressively couple the tibial tray to the tibia bone. The anchor comprises a longitudinally extending base, a top section coupled to the base and having a shape to be received into the retaining aperture of the tibial tray, and a flexible blade member protruding from the base. The flexible blade member is adapted to be flexed in tension while being inserted into the tibia bone, thereby exerting a compressive force between the tibial tray and the tibia bone. A deforming fixture may be used to shape the flexible blade member. Methods of affixing an implant to a bone structure are also provided.

The substrate can have an inner surface, an outer surface, and a screw hole extending through the inner and outer surfaces and configured to receive a screw to fix the substrate to bone within an acetabulum. The screw hole plug can be configured to be selectively retained relative to the substrate.

摘要: A glenoid prosthetic is provided and may include a first component having an articulating surface engaged by the head of a humeral component or a natural humerus and an engagement surface formed on an opposite side of the first component than the articulating surface. A second component may be attached to the first component proximate to the engagement surface and may be attached to a resected glenoid of a scapula. The second component may be formed from a different material than the first component and may include at least one coupling stem received within an aperture formed in the resected glenoid.

摘要: A surgical method for tibia osteotomy includes attaching a patient-specific alignment guide to a corresponding surface of a tibia of a patient for whom the alignment guide is customized during a pre-operative planning stage and making a partial bone cut in the tibia through a planar slot of the alignment guide. The planar slot is oriented at a patient-specific angle relative to an anatomic axis of the patient and the angle is customized during the pre-operative planning stage. The method includes opening the bone cut to form an opening wedge, and inserting a patient-specific implantable wedge into the opening wedge.

摘要: A shoulder implant assembly constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure includes a frame member, a cup, and a glenosphere. The frame member can have a central hub and a first arm extending therefrom. The frame member can be configured to selectively and alternatively couple with first shoulder implant components in a traditional shoulder configuration and with second shoulder implant components in a reverse shoulder configuration. The cup can have a concave surface that is configured to articulate with a humeral head component. The cup can be selectively coupled to the frame member in the traditional shoulder configuration. The glenosphere can have an outer articulating surface that is configured to articulate with a second cup. The glenosphere can be selectively coupled to the frame member in the reverse shoulder configuration.
