摘要: The invention relates to a rubber composition with enhanced curing and adhesion properties, comprising the following ingredients: R1—an elastomer or rubber E which is preferably a diene-based elastomer, R2—a particulate active filler which is preferably carbon black, or silica, or a combination of both, R3—a cobalt free curing or crosslinking or vulcanising system which includes sulphur, an active zinc composition ZnX having a specific surface area of from 10 m2/g to 100 m2/g, and accelerators, R4—a novolak composition NC which is a mixture of a novolak resin PA and a urethane-aldehyde resin UA′, and R5—a methylene donor, to a process to cure these rubber compositions, and to a method of use of these rubber compositions in engineered rubber products selected from the group consisting of hoses, pressure hoses, conveyor belts, gaskets, and tyres.

摘要: The preparation and use of mixed salts of hydroxyalkane sulfinic acids and optionally hydroxyalkane sulfonic acids as a reducing agent are disclosed. The reducing power of the salts is significantly higher than the reducing power of the corresponding zinc salt. The storage stability of the salts as solids and as aqueous solution is significantly higher than one of the corresponding sodium salts.

摘要: A sulfonic acid salt composition includes compounds of formula (I), wherein n is 1 or 2, R1 is H or C1-C6 alkyl, R2 is COOM, SO3M or CH(OH)SO2—OM, each M is an equivalent of a multivalent metal, preferably magnesium, calcium, aluminum, zinc and combinations thereof. The molar ratio of a compound wherein n is 1 to a compound wherein n is 2 is below 0.1. The sulfonic acid salt composition is useful for color stabilization of non-living organic matter such as from lacquers, paints, powder-coatings, and polymers in particular water-absorbent polymers.
