    摘要: A lens pull-in method is used in a near-field optical accessing system. When a lens is in a far-field range, the lens is driven to approach a surface of an optical disc in an open loop control state. If the lens enters a near-field range, a first GES level is inputted as a set value and the lens is driven in a close loop control state. When the gap error signal decreases to the first GES level, the set value is changed to a second GES level, which is higher than the first GES level. When the gap error signal increases to the first GES level, the set value is changed to a target GES level, so that the gap error signal is maintained at the target gap error signal.

    摘要: An optical disc drive for marking a label side of a lightscribe disc is provided. The optical disc drive includes a metallic plate, a spoke detecting device and a spindle motor PCB. The spoke detecting device is used for detecting spoke patterns on the lightscribe disc. The spindle motor PCB is supported on the metallic plate and having a notch such that a receptacle is defined by sidewalls of the notch and a surface of the metallic plate. The spoke detecting device is received in the receptacle such that the spoke detecting device is separated from the lightscribe disc by a specified gap.

    摘要: An ultrasonic sensing method and an ultrasonic sensing device are provided. The ultrasonic sensing device includes a microprocessor, a signal-driving module and a transducer module. The microprocessor generates a first driving signal with a first frequency to the signal-driving module. The signal-driving module drives the transducer module to emit a first sensing signal to a target object in response to the first driving signal. Then, a first echo signal received by the transducer is transmitted to the microprocessor to calculate a first time of flight. In a similar manner, a second time of flight is obtained based on a second driving signal with a second frequency. The microprocessor determines a final time of flight according to the first time of flight or the second time of flight.

    摘要: A drawing control method is used for producing a label pattern on a label side of an optical disc. The optical disc is first loaded into an optical disc drive with the label side facing to an optical pickup head of the optical disc drive. The optical pickup head is controlled to move along a seeking direction from a first track to a second track in a long seeking operation; and then controlled to move along another seeking direction opposite to the seeking direction from the second track to a preset track range between lower track and an upper track. The optical pickup head then draws a label pattern on the label side of the optical disc in the preset track range.

    摘要: A label side of a light-scribe optical disc includes a control feature zone recording therein reference information of the optical disc and a label zone to be marked based on the reference information. An optical head is moved in the label zone to determine a first FE gain and a first sub-beam addition (SBAD) signal by way of focusing servo technology. The optical head is further moved in the control feature zone to determine a second SBAD Signal. The first and second SBAD signals are operated to obtain a ratio. The ratio is used with the first FE gain to estimate a second FE gain for accessing to the control feature zone.

    摘要: A tracking error control system includes a tracking error signal generator in communication with an optical pickup head, a DC detector in communication with the tracking error signal generator and a comparator in communication with the DC detector and the tracking error signal generator. The operating optical signals received by the optical pickup head are operated with an offset signal to generate a tracking error signal. A direct current voltage of the tracking error signal is detected and compared with a reference voltage. The offset signal is adjusted according to the comparison result and fed back to the tracking error signal generator to adjust the tracking error signal.
