摘要： An image display apparatus has a control circuit that periodically varies a characteristic, such as an amplitude characteristic or timing characteristic, of the displayed image signal. Periodic variations may be produced by passing the image signal through a variable inductance element, for example, or by alternately selecting two amplifier circuits with different gain characteristics, or by periodically delaying the image signal. The periodic variations reduce peaks in the spectrum of unintended radiation emissions, and suppress undesired moire patterns in the displayed image.

摘要： A controller base unit for a DIN-standard installation wherein a molded base is provided with an internal chassis for support and a contour that permits the direct and releasable attachment of the unit to a DIN rail via a plurality of hooks that are simultaneously moveable between an engaged and non-engaged position. The base is provided with a recess in a planar face thereof for accommodating a printed circuit board and has fixed tabs along the periphery of the recess. The circuit board has cut-outs that mate with the tabs for insertion of the board into the recess and is slidable laterally into a position where the tabs secure the board against the surface of the recess and a screw or the like can secure the board against further lateral movement. The board has at both ends thereof a pair of connectors that are connectable with either end of a separate similarly designed board via a cable. With this board design, the length of cable connections between boards arranged horizontally, vertically, side-by-side, etc. can be minimized.

摘要： A power supply device for electric vehicle. The power supply device includes an engine, transmission, generator-motor, power converting circuit, battery and alternating drive motor. In operation, the battery supplies a direct current to the power converting circuit which converts the direct current to an alternating current which is supplied to the generator-motor to start the engine. Thereafter, the generator-motor acts as a generator so as to generating an alternating current which is supplied to the drive motor via the power converting circuit. Additionally, the power converting circuit converts the alternating current to a direct current for recharging the battery. According to another embodiment of the invention, a rectifier is provided for converting the alternating current of the generator-motor to a direct current which is supplied to the storage battery and to a direct current load. Additionally, an inverter converts the direct current voltage from the storage battery and the direct current voltage from the rectifier into an alternating current. A switch alternatively connects the output side of the converter to a first side of the generator motor in starting the engine and to a second side of the alternating current driving motor after the engine has started.

摘要： An improved method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display unit substantially free from gate electrode breakage but with no increase in the number of manufacturing steps over the conventional method. The liquid crystal display unit includes a TFT array substrate including a plurality of gate electrode lines juxtaposed on a transparent insulating substrate, a plurality of source electrode lines arranged across the gate electrode lines, nonlinear active elements disposed at the intersections of the electrode lines, a confronting electrode substrate having a transparent conductive film on the surface thereof confronting the TFT array substrate, and a liquid crystal display material being held between the confronting electrode substrate and the TFT array substrate. Each of the gate electrode lines is constructed in the form of two layers. One of the two layers is made of display electrode material simultaneously with the formation of the display electrode.

摘要： The present invention relates to a terminal connecting device which simplifies and facilitates achieving the proper alignment between a male-threaded portion of a terminal screw and a female-threaded hole of a stationary terminal, and moreover, which assures that a fastening operation is easily performed. The terminal screw or the terminal screw guiding member may also be supported by the resilient action of an elastic member of which one end is supported by the side wall. Alternatively, the terminal screws may be housed in a housing which is slidably attached to the side wall and which may be locked in place with the aid of a resilient member and latching apparatus.
