Abstract:
Various operations may be performed based on a distance-related function associated with two or more devices. For example, an association procedure for two or more devices may be based on one or more determined distances. Similarly, presence management may be based on one or more determined distances. A distance-related function may take various form including, for example, a distance between devices, two or more distances between devices, a rate of change in a relative distance between devices, relative acceleration between devices, or some combination of two or more of the these distance-related functions.
Abstract:
Techniques for protecting contents of a stack associated with a processor are provided. The techniques include a method including receiving a store instruction from a software program being executed by the processor, the store instruction including control information associated with a subroutine, altering the control information to generate secured control information responsive to receiving the store instruction from the software program, storing the secured control information on the stack, receiving a load instruction from the software program; and responsive to receiving the load instruction from the software program, loading the secured control information from the stack, altering the secured control information to recover the control information, and returning the control information to the software program.
Abstract:
Techniques are described for enhancing quality of a first image that is captured in a low-light environment. In one embodiment, a second image is generated by brightening a plurality of pixels in the first image based on a predefined criteria. A third image is generated using an edge-preserving noise reduction algorithm based on the second image. Further, a composite image is generated by obtaining a weighted average of the first image and the third image. The techniques described herein can be applied to an image and/or to each frame of a video that is captured in low-light environments.
Abstract:
Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for receiving first scheduling information indicating a sidelink uplink control information (S-UCI) resource, receiving second scheduling information indicating one or more physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource, and transmitting control information via at least one of the S-UCI resource or the one or more PSFCH resources.
Abstract:
In a wireless communication system, user equipment (UE) has autonomy provided by one or more set of rules to handle processing during a measurement gap. UE can ignore or use only a portion of the whole measurement gap if not needed. Thereby, an urgent need for remaining tuned to source carrier frequency can be supported, such as utilizing Random Access Channel (RACH) procedure. UE can also choose to tune to a target carrier frequency supporting timely handovers. Depending on the type of processing required (download shared channel (DL-SCH, UL-SCH, TTI bundling, RACH or SR), the UE may store requests and process the measurements during the gap or ignore the gap measurement as if there were no gaps.

Abstract:
To inhibit cross-site forgery attacks, different types/classes of cookies are used. A first cookie and a second cookie are generated by a web server and provided to a client browser during a web session. The first cookie defines a first set of use conditions for when the first cookie is to be used within the web session. The second cookie defines a second set of use conditions for when the second cookie is to be used within the web session. The client browser determines which (if any) of the first cookie or second cookie to send to the web server based on the use conditions defined within each cookie and the operation(s) sought by the client browser. The web server may grant different or the same privileges to operation(s) being sought by the client browser depending on whether the first or second cookie is sent by the client browser.
Abstract:
Example methods, apparatuses, and articles of manufacture are disclosed herein that may be utilized to facilitate or otherwise support RF ranging-assisted local motion sensing based, at least in part, on measuring one or more characteristics of a range between communicating devices in one or more established RF links.
Abstract:
Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate transmitting and receiving control data according to hopping patterns where the hopping patterns are defined based in part on bandwidth capabilities of a device transmitting the control data and bandwidth of the network on which the data is being transmitted. In this regard, devices having lower bandwidth capabilities than the network can hop within given frequency blocks reserved for control data assuming the blocks are no greater than the bandwidth of the device. Devices having greater or substantially equal bandwidth capabilities as the network can hop across disparate frequency blocks of the network reserved for control data as the device can handle substantially any hop in frequency. This preserves frequency diversity for control channels in multiple device types regardless of device bandwidth capabilities.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of testing a reference cell in a memory array are disclosed. In a particular embodiment, a method includes coupling a first reference cell of a first reference cell pair of a memory array to a first input of a first sense amplifier of the memory array. The method also includes providing a reference signal to a second input of the first sense amplifier. The reference signal is associated with a second reference cell pair of the memory array.
