    摘要: A vehicle steering apparatus includes a drive unit for changing a steering angle of a steered wheel. A calculation unit calculates a control target amount of the steering angle based on a vehicle model. A control unit controls the drive unit to change the steering angle based on the control target amount. A determination unit determines whether the absolute value of at least one of yaw rate of the vehicle and lateral acceleration of the vehicle is greater than or equal to a predetermined value when velocity of the vehicle is less than or equal to a predetermined velocity. The control unit refrains from executing the control based on the control target amount when the absolute value is not greater than or equal to the predetermined value.

    摘要: An excess flow valve includes: a valve that opens and closes a flow path; a solenoid that keeps the valve in an opened state; a pressure detector detecting the primary-side pressure of the valve; and a controller controlling current flow to the solenoid based on pressure detected by the pressure detector so that the valve is closed when the flow rate supplied to the valve is at or more than a predetermined amount. The excess flow valve can be used in a wide variety of applications and prevents a flow of fluid at or greater than a desired flow rate even if the primary-side supply pressure varies.

    摘要: A vehicle motion control apparatus is provided for performing a vehicle stability control on the basis of a parameter indicative of lateral margin for a tire on a road. The apparatus includes a steering control device for controlling a relationship between a steering angle and a tire angle to be varied, and a decelerating control device for controlling a vehicle speed to be decreased. The parameter indicative of lateral margin for the tire is monitored, and the steering control device and the decelerating control device are controlled on the basis of the monitored parameter. The steering control device is controlled to decrease the tire angle relative to the steering angle, when the parameter is decreased from a value of relatively large lateral margin to a value of relatively small lateral margin, which is smaller than a first threshold value, and the decelerating control device is controlled to decrease the vehicle speed in addition to the steering control by the steering control device, when the parameter is further decreased to a value of lateral margin smaller than a second threshold value, which is smaller than the first threshold value.

    摘要: In vehicle roll sensing of the present invention, a self-aligning torque (SAT) estimator estimates a composite value of SATs generated on tire contact patch of right and left wheels. A slip angle computer detects a vehicle speed and a steering angle and computes a slip angle of the wheel from the measured vehicle speed and steering angle. An SAT model value computer estimates an SAT model value as a composite value of SATs of the right and left wheels when no load shifts between the right and left wheels on the basis of the slip angle. A load shift ratio estimator estimates a load shift state of the right and left wheels on the basis of the composite value of the SATs of the wheels and the SAT model value. A vehicle rollover estimator estimates a rollover of the vehicle on the basis of the estimated load-shift state.

    摘要: A differential limiting device includes a planetary gear mechanism, in which a planetary carrier rotatably distributes the rotational power of a front housing to a ring gear and a sun gear through planetary gears and hence, to a first inner shaft and a second inner shaft which are rotatable respectively with the ring gear and the sun gear. A pilot clutch, when in friction engagement, brings about relative rotation between a cam ring and the second inner shaft to axially move the second inner shaft by the action of a cam mechanism provided therebetween. The axial movement of the second inner shaft causes the first inner shaft to be axially moved, whereby a main clutch arranged between the front housing and the first inner shaft is brought into friction engagement. When in friction engagement, the main clutch limits the relative rotation between the ring gear and the planetary carrier.

    摘要: A steer-by-wire steering apparatus for a vehicle has a first control system including a first ECU, and a second control system including a second ECU. Each ECU responds to manipulation of the steering wheel by a driver, and controls a steering motor. The first ECU determines whether the second control system is malfunctioning, and the second ECU determines whether the first system is malfunctioning. When any of the system is malfunctioning, the ECU of normally functioning system controls a counter force motor such that steering wheel receives a counter force that is different from that when both systems are functioning normally. Accordingly, the steering apparatus is capable of speedily and reliably causing a driver to realize a malfunction in the steering apparatus.

    摘要: An electric power steering apparatus includes a booster circuit and a microcomputer. The booster circuit includes a booster coil, a first FET, and a second FET. The booster coil is connected to the first FET, which is grounded. A node a between the booster coil and the first FET is connected to the second FET, which is connected to a drive circuit. The microcomputer drives the first and second FETs such that the first and second FETs are selectively turned on and off, thereby controlling an output voltage of the booster circuit. When application of assisting force to a steering system is stopped, the microcomputer holds the second FETs on until the output voltage of the booster circuit becomes equal to a predetermined voltage.

    摘要: A motor-current square value calculation section 45 calculates, as a motor-current square value, the sum of respective square values of two phase currents converted from three phase currents flowing through an electric motor. A temperature estimation calculation section 44 performs low-pass filtering for the motor-current square value, and calculates temperature increases of the mass portion and coils on the basis of the filtered motor-current square value. In the low-pass filtering, filtering calculation is performed in a manner which changes depending on rotational speed RV of the electric motor; i.e., whether the electric motor is in a rotating state or in a stopped state. The temperature increase of the mass portion is added to ambient temperature of the electric motor to thereby estimate temperature of the mass portion, and the temperature increase of the coils is added to the estimated temperature of the mass portion to thereby estimate temperature of the coils. Accordingly, the coil temperature of the electric motor can be accurately detected, and current flowing through the electric motor is properly controlled in accordance with the detected temperature.

    摘要: An adhesion structure of a motor that adheres a rotor having a first linear expansion coefficient and a magnet having a second linear expansion coefficient, which differs from the first linear expansion coefficient, with an adhesive agent. The adhesion structure includes a thickness determining groove extending parallel to the axis of the rotor and arranged on the rotor in order to determine the thickness of an adhesive agent layer, which is formed from the adhesive agent. The thickness determining groove absorbs shearing stress produced by the difference between the first and second linear expansion coefficients at a surface adhered to the magnet. This effectively suppresses exfoliation of the adhesive agent layer.
