    摘要: An adhesion structure of a motor that adheres a rotor having a first linear expansion coefficient and a magnet having a second linear expansion coefficient, which differs from the first linear expansion coefficient, with an adhesive agent. The adhesion structure includes a thickness determining groove extending parallel to the axis of the rotor and arranged on the rotor in order to determine the thickness of an adhesive agent layer, which is formed from the adhesive agent. The thickness determining groove absorbs shearing stress produced by the difference between the first and second linear expansion coefficients at a surface adhered to the magnet. This effectively suppresses exfoliation of the adhesive agent layer.

    摘要: In a rotor having plural permanent magnets secured on a rotary shaft for use in, e.g., an electric motor which is incorporated preferably into a rack-type electric power steering device, a cylindrical cover is fit on the rotary shaft to cover the external surfaces of the plural permanent magnets, and one or both axial end portions of the cylindrical cover are plastically deformed thereby to secure the cylindrical cover onto the rotary shaft. Thus, the cylindrical cover is firmly secured to the rotary shaft and, even when one or more permanent magnets are separated from the rotary shaft or broken, prevents the separated permanent magnets or the broken fragments from scattering within a housing of the motor.

    摘要: There is provided a rolling die and a method for forming a thread or worm and a spline having a small number of teeth whose number is thirteen or less simultaneously by rolling. By use of rolling dies, the formation of a worm by rolling by use of a thread rolling die starts, and after that, the formation of a spline having a small number of teeth by rolling starts by use of a spline rolling die while continuing the formation of the worm. Accordingly, a rolled material can be rolled forcibly by a driving source from the worm rolled using the thread rolling die. As a result, the spline having a small number of teeth whose number is thirteen or less can be formed by rolling onto the rolled material at the same time as the formation of the worm.

    摘要: An electrically heated catalyst apparatus includes a carrier, a pair of surface electrodes, a wiring and a plurality of fixed layers. The carrier is formed of ceramics on which a catalyst is carried. The pair of surface electrodes face each other and are extended in an axial direction of the carrier on an outer peripheral surface of the carrier. The wiring is formed into a pectinate shape and is configured to supply electric power from an outside of the electrically heated catalyst apparatus to the surface electrode. The plurality of fixed layers is configured to fix the wiring on the surface electrode. The electrically heated catalyst apparatus is formed so that the carrier is electrically heated through the surface electrode. Elongation of the wiring is 15% or more.
