The optical structures protrude on the side surface, the first connecting surface, and the second connecting surface, and together form a Fresnel lens structure.     摘要: A backlight module including a light guiding plate, a light source and a block is provided. The light guiding plate includes a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, a light incident surface connecting to the first surface and the second surface, and a side surface opposite to the light incident surface. A thickness of at least part of the light guiding plate decreases progressively from the side surface towards the light incident surface. The light source is disposed beside the light incident surface and is capable of emitting a light beam into the light guiding plate through the light incident surface. The block is disposed beside the side surface and includes a reflecting surface facing towards the side surface. The reflecting surface is a concave surface on the block, and the reflecting surface is capable of reflecting the light beam returning to the side surface.

Each light source is adjacent to the side surface and provides light. The lenses are disposed on a transmission path of the light. Each lens has a back surface, a cavity on the back surface, and a light-emitting surface. The cavity has a light-incident surface. Each light source is arranged corresponding to one of the lenses and adjacent to the cavity. The light, after passing the lenses, is divided into light beams with different propagating directions. The light beams irradiate the bottom reflector.

    摘要: A display apparatus and a method for controlling a backlight module thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes the backlight module, an input unit and a processing unit. A light-emitting device of the backlight module includes a first light-emitting unit and a second light-emitting unit. A photoelectric conversion efficiency of the first light-emitting unit is higher than that of the second light-emitting unit, and a covering color gamut of the second light-emitting unit is larger than that of the first light-emitting unit. The input unit generates an input signal. The processing unit is coupled to the input unit and configured to receive the input signal generated by the input unit, and the processing unit is coupled to the backlight module, and dynamically adjusts respective light intensity ratios of the first light-emitting unit and the second light-emitting unit according to the received input signal.
