摘要: In at least one embodiment, the drug delivery device comprises a mechanism unit (MU) with an electrical element and an arrangement for changing an operational state of the mechanism unit. The mechanism unit is configured to enable a dispense process for dispensing a drug. Furthermore, the mechanism unit is configured to be operatively coupled with a selected drug reservoir unit (RU) which, when coupled with the mechanism unit, interacts with the electrical element and thereby changes an electrical property of the electrical element in a characteristic manner. The mechanism unit is configured such that operation of the arrangement for changing the operational state of the mechanism unit is prevented unless the electrical property of the electrical element is changed in at least one characteristic manner.

摘要: An injection device for injecting medicament in a patient comprises a housing configured to house a fluid reservoir that has one of a plurality of volumes of medicament. An injection conduit fluidly coupled to the fluid reservoir defines a fluid pathway from the fluid reservoir to the patient. A firing mechanism is coupled to the fluid reservoir and is configured to expel the medicament from the fluid reservoir through the injection conduit. A volume setting mechanism is coupled to the firing mechanism and is configured to select the one of the plurality of volumes of medicament for the firing mechanism to expel. A dose setting mechanism is configured to select all or a fraction of the one of the plurality of volumes of medicament that is injected from the injection conduit when the firing mechanism is actuated.

摘要: An injector apparatus includes a housing (101, 102) for a cartridge or syringe, a plunger (40) for cooperating in use with the cartridge or syringe to express successive doses, a dose setting arrangement (16, 20) to select a dose volume, and a drive mechanism (22, 24) releasable to advance the plunger in respective predetermined increments of magnitude to express the successive doses. The drive mechanism includes a drive spring (22) for imparting movement directly or indirectly to the plunger (40), and the dose setting arrangement includes a dose setting element (16) moveable in a dose setting routine to define a magnitude of an increment of movement of the plunger for a given dose. The drive mechanism further includes a clutch arrangement (56) operable during the dose setting routine to inhibit forward movement of the plunger and/or to isolate the dose setting element from the force of the drive spring.

摘要: A drive mechanism for a medication delivery device is presented having a housing, a rotation member that rotates in a first direction with respect to the housing during setting of a dose of a medication and rotates in a second direction with respect to the housing during delivery of the dose, the second direction being opposite to the first direction. The device also has a piston rod that is displaced in a distal direction with respect to the housing for delivering the dose, a drive member which follows rotational movement of the rotation member in the second direction during delivery of the dose, and a stop member which prevents rotational movement of the drive member with respect to the housing in the first direction during setting of the dose.

摘要: The disclosure is generally directed to a drug delivery device for selecting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament. The device comprises a housing having a proximal end and an opposite distal end, a dose setting member rotatable relative to the housing during dose setting and during dose dispensing, and an axially compressible torsion spring which is rotationally and axially constrained with a first end to the housing. The device further comprises a spring collar, which is rotationally constrained to the dose setting member and axially displaceable thereto between a proximal dose setting position and a distal dose dispensing position. The torsion spring is rotationally constrained with a second, opposite end to the dose setting member via the spring collar, and the torsion spring biases the spring collar into its dose setting position.

摘要: The present disclosure is generally directed to a trigger mechanism for initiating dispensing doses of a medicament from a drug delivery device. The trigger mechanism includes a trigger element movable in a first direction relative to a counter element. To provide a feedback to a user of the trigger mechanism, the trigger element includes a first interference member and the counter element includes a second interference member located with respect to the first interference member such that upon movement of the trigger element relative to the counter element the first interference member contacts and passes over the second interference member, thereby generating an audible and/or tactile feedback. Further, the disclosure includes a drug delivery device for selecting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament comprising such a trigger mechanism.

The second connecting component has a second threaded section which is complementary to the first threaded section.
