    摘要： Disclosed are various exemplary embodiments of an air filter element for a machine. The air filter element may include a generally rectangular body with a rounded bottom surface, where the generally rectangular body may be configured to be inserted into a filter housing in a first direction. The filter element may also include an inlet opening at a top surface opposite to the bottom surface of the generally rectangular body, where the inlet opening may face in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The filter element may also include a front surface facing substantially in the first direction and defining a discharge opening and a rear surface opposite to the front surface of the generally rectangular body. The filter element may further include a sealing element disposed on a side surface of the generally rectangular body between the front surface and the rear surface, such that the sealing element substantially may seal off a gap between the side surface of the filter housing and the generally rectangular body when the generally rectangular body is inserted into the filter housing.

The apparatus has a housing with an interior chamber. An airflow enters the chamber through an inlet. From the interior chamber, the airflow is expelled through an outlet. The apparatus has an airflow-germ-killing-system that kills germs in the airflow. The apparatus has an airflow-generator which causes the airflow to flow from the inlet to the outlet. In an aspect of the invention, the apparatus has a three-dimensional filter structure that has air-filter-surfaces that define a filter interior region and encompassed by the air-filter-surfaces of the filter structure. The filter is positioned in connection with the inlet so that airflow entering the inlet is dispersed into the housing interior chamber in multiple directions exclusively through the air-filter-surfaces of the three-dimensional filter structure.

    摘要： The air filter assembly or “air box” includes a flat base tray mounted to velocity stacks and a detachable filter box. The base tray includes a number of pliable mounting shoes, which are seated within openings formed in the base tray. The mounting shoes are formed or molded of a pliable synthetic rubber and are configured to have a number of ports through which the velocity stacks extend. Each stack port is defined by a bowl shaped depression that diverges into an annular collar. The base tray is mounted to the velocity stacks by hose clamps that compress the annular collars of the mounting shoes around the stacks. The detachable filter box is held to the base tray by six quick release latches.
